Merry Christmas. Mine was shite as I'm ill and i can hear my own family in the house next door playing drinking games to which I wasn't invited. Usual bollocks about not being able to express emotions and essentially shut up when I'm depressed and unhappy. My cousin, his partner my brother and my aunt and her partner and a cool dog called moe are all next door having their own parallel Xmas while my mum and I and my granny basically lament life, snore a lot and quietly make small talk.

My family forgot to call my brother in Japan so I didn't get to talk to my niece which usually lifts my spirits.

This is the first year ive put up zero christmas decorations. Ive no christmas spirit whatsoever,just hardcore depression.

Sorry to hear you've had a difficult Christmas, mine wasn't too bad in comparison aside from a horrible bout of IBS which started on boxing day and is still ongoing (turkey definitely does not agree with me).

Kind of dreading NYE if it doesn't improve by then as its going to be the first year since 2019 we've had people round to see in the new year (this year my sister has invited her bf and his two kids) so I don't really want to have to spend all evening trying not to gooseberry fool myself/vomit everywhere .
