How does the new content work - is it separate or added in to the base game? If the latter that's more reason for me to hold off playing this until it is all out.

I was wondering this also. That said, I have played the base game already, but it left me wanting more as it's so well paced. The ultimate story beats are concise enough that even I have not forgotten what happened yet (though in truth some bits I never fully understood :slol:

)

Finished this today. Opted for a few "bad" endings so I could prolong my game as it felt like it would end forever if I, say, flew off on a ship. Annoyingly it seems like I could have just continued my save from that choice, but this was not made clear.

It's a very engaging game! Much more linear than I would have initially guessed but it did a good job of letting you tackle content in whatever order you wanted, making it feel very much like "your" journey.

Really enjoyed the universe it's set in. I love love love the idea of "sleepers" and the world building and flavour text did a great job of fleshing out the Ring and the people there.

Mopped up every quest, by the end I didn't have to worry about the economy at all and was just waiting for quest lines to progress by sleeping over and over.

Would thoroughly recommend. A great Gamepass addition.

I believe the new content is coming out today. Looking forward to an excuse to revisit the Citizen Sleeper universe.

Played through the free DLC a few days ago. It was good, with a couple of interesting new characters. It seems like its episodic and the next DLC will continue this "arc", which I'm looking forward to.

Probably about 1.5 - 2 hrs in length.

Last of the 3 episodes of this has dropped now, also on sale on Switch (£12ish)

I keep seeing this on sale on Steam and I've been very tempted. I've got a lot of games on the go at the minute though so it's difficult to justify adding another to the pile.

Finished the last of the DLC last night. A pretty amazing experience. It's too easy once you know which systems are the best to use and how the ecosystem all ties together, but it's still an excellently told story that hits quite hard by the end. The DLC (which is free) feels absolutely essential to giving a satisfying finality to it all.

I really enjoyed their other game “In Other Waters” also. I will probably pick up the next title they put out on day 1.

Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, the sequel to developer Jump Over The Age's highly acclaimed tabletop-inspired narrative RPG, has been revealed.

Things are a little bit different this time around, with Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector introducing a brand-new - and steadily declining - Sleeper android protagonist, alongside a new setting where players will need to build themselves a life among the starts.

This particular Sleeper has been hiding out in the Starward Belt at the edge of the Helion System, and, having rewritten their own code in an effort to escape servitude, is now on the run with a malfunctioning body, a bounty on their head, and no memory of their past.

In Starward Vector, players pilot their own ramshackle stolen ship, populated by a crew they've recruited themselves, as they attempt to navigate a system in crisis - wrenched apart by two warring corporate entities - while taking on contracts to see them through to the next cycle.

It's all built around a tabletop-RPG inspired, dice-throwing-and-spending system similar to that of the first game, but Jump Over The Age is also promising new mechanics offering "more depth, complexity and challenge".

There's not much more to report on Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector just yet, but it's currently available to wishlist on Steam and is said to be "coming soon".
