Good 5th episode, wasn't keen on the kids trashing the house storyline but elsewhere was good. Plenty of possibilities next week for the finale when the Cobalt gooseberry fool hits the fan.

Good episode again. The army general is a ridiculous character, though. Hopefully he'll die soon. The scene with the sniper rifle, what on earth was the point? It seems like the show is trying to turn him into a cartoon type villian that's a bad person just for the sake of it.

I like where the plot is going in general, however.

Damn good finale even if it felt more like a traditional Walking Dead episode what with all the violence and action. They definitely spent big on this one, holy hell! Budget must've been through the roof.

Travis going full Rick earlier than expected.

Looking forward to season 2.

Yeah, judging from imdb. I would be surprised if it wasn't.

Saturation will lead to declining viewer numbers as people get bored of one or both shows. Sad, really.

Pretty good finale - A very typical episode of Walking Dead and some nice action and character development with a hefty budget. I guess they're off to the boat next so not sure where that will be heading. I know these people are meant to be Zombie ignorant but leaving the neighbourhood gate open was stupid and they're still wandering around with no weapons most of the time, at least have a kitchen knife or something.

I have to say, I'm a bit disappointed they didn't drag out the apocalypse for a bit longer, maybe across a couple of seasons before things truly went to hell, just to keep it feeling different enough from the mother series.

I'm hoping that California has disintegrated faster than other places, and that as our team of heroes heads wherever, they'll encounter other places where normality is still sort of in place, before it goes to gooseberry fool over and over.

Travis is already turning into Rick Grimes.

Just saw the first episode last night, seeing that all episodes are out.

I kept screaming at the tv, then reminding myself that they don't know what the hell has happened yet. And I still do it. :slol:

That ending was great  always wanted to see the fall of civilisation, and apart from a few slow moments the whole season has been immense.

The only downer was the gooseberry fool view of the sea at the end, would have preferred them to pan over the cities as they get ruined.

More please. 8-)

‘Fear The Walking Dead’ Clocks Highest-Rated First Season In Cable History

AMC’s zombie-drama Fear The Walking Dead is officially the highest-rated series first season in cable TV history, with total viewers and in key demo, with Live+3 viewing tabulated.

In its six-episode Season 1, FtWD averaged 11.2 million viewers, 7.3 million adults 18-49 and 7.2 million adults 25-54, tallying three days of time-shifted viewing.

Across all of TV, FtWD ranks as the No. 3 freshman scripted series starter season in the 18-49 demo, behind only Fox’s Empire and NBC’s first iteration of Heroes, since Nielsen began reporting L+3 in the 2006-2007 TV season.

With this success, AMC announced Fear The Walking Dead will get the aftershow treatment for the entirety of its second season of 15 episodes in 2016. Talking Dead will follow each FtWD episode, hosted by Chris Hardwick.

I don't think AMC has to worry about Zombie fatigue for a while (or ever).

Good first season for this, much better than I was expecting.

Was anybody else expecting the final scene to zoom under the water and show thousands of zombies wandering around under the ocean? :slol:

I heard somebody saying that the ending shots of the finale focused on some kind of red seaweed? Maybe it be infected. :o

Very surprised how much I enjoyed this. Shame it all went tits up so soon though. I perhaps would have liked to see a bit more of the break down of society. Still, very enjoyable and as someone mentioned, maybe LA just went to hell quickly due to it's population density. Hopefully Travis won't be such a little bitch now too.

Curious as to what the red crap was in the sea though.
