That ending was great  always wanted to see the fall of civilisation, and apart from a few slow moments the whole season has been immense.

The only downer was the gooseberry fool view of the sea at the end, would have preferred them to pan over the cities as they get ruined.

More please. 8-)

‘Fear The Walking Dead’ Clocks Highest-Rated First Season In Cable History

AMC’s zombie-drama Fear The Walking Dead is officially the highest-rated series first season in cable TV history, with total viewers and in key demo, with Live+3 viewing tabulated.

In its six-episode Season 1, FtWD averaged 11.2 million viewers, 7.3 million adults 18-49 and 7.2 million adults 25-54, tallying three days of time-shifted viewing.

Across all of TV, FtWD ranks as the No. 3 freshman scripted series starter season in the 18-49 demo, behind only Fox’s Empire and NBC’s first iteration of Heroes, since Nielsen began reporting L+3 in the 2006-2007 TV season.

With this success, AMC announced Fear The Walking Dead will get the aftershow treatment for the entirety of its second season of 15 episodes in 2016. Talking Dead will follow each FtWD episode, hosted by Chris Hardwick.

I don't think AMC has to worry about Zombie fatigue for a while (or ever).

Good first season for this, much better than I was expecting.

Was anybody else expecting the final scene to zoom under the water and show thousands of zombies wandering around under the ocean? :slol:

Very surprised how much I enjoyed this. Shame it all went tits up so soon though. I perhaps would have liked to see a bit more of the break down of society. Still, very enjoyable and as someone mentioned, maybe LA just went to hell quickly due to it's population density. Hopefully Travis won't be such a little bitch now too.

Curious as to what the red crap was in the sea though.

I really liked this , the first episode was slow but it was introducing characters although still very interesting and the rest of the episodes were great . Nick was an interesting character and scarily looks like jonny depp in his youth , his acting was pretty damn good as well. Also Strand who appeared in the last two episodes was strawberry floating brilliant and smooth as anything.

He has one of the best voices I have ever heard.

Just got the final episode to watch but this gooseberry fools all over The Walking Dead. It's better in every way and the pacing is perfect with some genuinely interesting and well played characters. They're like completely different shows and I think when TWD resumes in Feb I'm going to enjoy it even less after watching this.

AMC said at TCA today that Season 2 of its Walking Dead spinoff will premiere at 9 PM Sunday, April 10. The 15-episode sophomore session of Fear The Walking Dead will be split into two parts, with the final eight airing in the fall. It also unveiled the first photo from Season 2 (right). The cable net also said that Talking Dead, the Walking Dead postshow series that launched in 2011, also will run after Fear The Walking Dead this season.

Wasn't this show supposed to be coming to Amazon video in the new year via a prime subscription?

1st episode out now. 1st part of the season is 7 episodes with part 2 of 8 episodes resuming probably in late August.

OK return - Had the usual problems of Ninja Zombies & Characters doing stupid stuff but I wasn't expecting much with it being on a boat along with the characters dealing with the deaths. Roll on next week.

That was.... weak. The quality of writing seems to have taken a nosedive in the space of two episodes. That seemed more like a regular Walking Dead episode with zombies sneaking up on people and characters being extra dumb to suit the plot. I really hope it improves again to season 1 levels. The CG background for most of the episode was distracting as hell.

Some nice cinematography in places, though.

No. Back to dry land in the next episode.

Well that was a damp squib.

This will just turn out to be The Walking Dead, but with a different set of characters. They've missed the boat (excuse the pun) on this. They should've took their time and show the descent into chaos. We're into season two and it's already full blown outbreak!

I'm not too sure with this.....
