It has been in planning for some time but it seems that a combined physical / digital games sales chart will be reported from "this month".

Most of the major publishers will have download data included, with some notable exceptions including Nintendo and Bethesda. Smaller publishers will not have download data included, either.

Even so, this feels like charts should present a far more accurate picture of game sales in the UK. It will be interesting to see how Steam data impacts the chart; and if Nintendo games visibility will suffer through not making download data available.

I don't think that the new combined chart has appeared anywhere yet... presumably it'll land next week!

This is way past due, but should be very interesting! It's a big shame Nintendo aren't on board.

Wonder if it'll finally knock GTA V out of the top ten for good?

No Nintendo is a little disappointing, but hopefully the charts will now better reflect actual purchasing habits.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:
