You’re right, it’s an extraterrestrial.

Fake news I can hear Stanley Kubrick giving sound direction in the background. Sad!

Journey well, old friend

Just think - millions of years from now, when humanity is likely extinct, these 2 little legends will still be powering away deeper and deeper into the abyss. Mind-boggling.

Millions of years? You overestimate our survival. 200 years should be more than long enough.

China is preparing to make the first attempt at landing robotic spacecraft on the Moon's far side.

A static lander and rover are expected to be deployed to the surface in the next day, state media reports.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-46724727

I didn't even know they had a spacecraft orbiting the Moon, let alone that it was going to be landing on it :o

Wonder if they'll try and vandalise visit the Apollo landing sites?

edit:
Targeting the far side turns this mission into a riskier and more complex venture than its predecessor, Chang'e-3 - which touched down in the Moon's Mare Imbrium region in 2013.

The strawberry float?! I didn't know China landed a craft on the Moon! What timeline am I in again?

Watch China visit the Apollo sites, knock the US flag over and kick off a revenge-based space race.
