A story bleeding cool broke like 3 weeks ago

For some one who only hears third hand rumours shouted by drunk people across a bar, BC doesn't half get a lot of stories right.....

You planning to get all the deluxe editions? That's gonna be expensive :dread:

P.S. Are there any decent DC books right now (outside of Bats)? I've been reading loads of different Marvel/Image stuff but nothing from DC has jumped out at me

DC proper the only thing I'm reading is Wonder Woman, which is soon to come to an end with the current creative team. It is reminiscent in idea to Neil Gaiman's American Gods - basically it's a tale of how Diana fits into the pantheon of Zeus' children. The interest very much comes from the supporting cast and the beautiful art.

Vertigo has had a fair new releases - I presume you're already reading The Wake and American Vampire which just came back.

Adding to what Pedro's said, Green Arrow by Lemire is good, and I liked Earth 2.

Deluxe edition 1 at least was cheaper than buying the first two trades individually, so I'll take it on a case by case basis. Read half of it and Snow seems far less likeable than in the video game. :(

I suspect Sinestro is going to spin out of Forever Evil/the end of Geoff Johns' GL rather than the current GL run.

Dick Grayson post-Forever Evil:

http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/2014/04/14/grayson-comic-book-series/7480853/

Dick Grayson is trading his superhero suit for secret-agent cool.

Batman's former sidekick embarks on a new life as an undercover superspy in the comic book Grayson, an action-adventure series premiering July 2 from DC Comics. It's written by Tim Seeley (Revival) and Tom King, a former CIA counterterrorism operations officer.

After a career of being overshadowed by his cape-and-cowled father figure, this is a chance for Grayson "to take off the mask and step out on his own in a world where he's not simply being another hero like the hero he grew up with," King says.

Might just be Amazing X-Men 6, Uncanny X-Men 20, X-Force 3 and the main event, Superior Spider-Man 31 for me. SSM's been an absolute joy to read.

So they put Sex Criminals up for two pretty big awards but don't nominate it for humour?

Probably because the one joke was strawberry floating well old after the first issue. Not sure what the Sex Criminals love-in is all about.

Hawkeye has gone downhill rapidly since #10 and I don't think it really belongs in the best ongoing series category, but it still seems to be an indie darling for some reason.

I'm only getting Ms Marvel, although I'll be reading Superior and hoping that they put it all into a hardcover at some point

Superior Spider-Man 31:

And just like that, the status quo is restored. I really enjoyed the issue, but was a little bit disappointed with the big reveal of the Goblin. Even if he did have a cracking 'tache.

Did anyone get that Spider-Man: Family Business graphic novel that came out the other week?

Superior #31- A disappointing return to status quo the same day the new movie is released. :( Jameson's not even mayor anymore?

And how does Peter remember Carlie shooting him when he was controlling Otto's body? That's a pretty massive plot hole.

Dan Slott currently flailing around wildly on CBR.

Batman #30- This was great though. :datass:
