That aside, Scott Snyder remains my favourite new writer.
Ah, it's really good, isn't it? I just read up to the last part of Ghost War last week, haven't started Survival of the Fittest yet. Did you get Ghost War in single issue? The covers are amazing, join them all together for an excellent piece of artwork. It'll be interesting to see
how it continues, I doubt Skinner's dead, he seems like too big a part to write off like that.Pedro wrote:Is there any more promising talent then Scott Snyder? I seriously like everything the guy puts out and even more so when you hear him talk about the books. His thoughts on Batman pretty much exactly mirror my own and I hope he stays on a Bat-book for a long time to come. DC really need to NOT strawberry float up relations with him as they have so many other talents.
I'm sure he said that he's signed with them until 2013, it'd be great if he could stay longer. 2 years doesn't seem like much in comic land.
I agree with you both, his stuff is fantastic and the quality only seems to be getting better and better. That's 3 of the top titles he has on the go right now and I'd like to think he'll be mentioned with the likes of Miller, Dixon and Morrison when great Bat books are mentioned in the future. I also have faith in him putting another interesting spin on Swamp Thing, can't wait to see how that turns out.
