I strawberry floating love that guy, was gutted when they killed him off.

I think it's an alternate universe Ben Reilly. Or their guess is wrong.

I am surprised he's never made a return, especially when you consider characters like Bucky making a comeback the way he did. Maybe because it's the poor reputation the clone saga gets these days.

The Clone Saga was a bit of a convoluted mess of course, but it was the Spider-Man saga I grew up reading and re-reading, and for all that Ben Reilly's time in the costume was inferior I did really like the character. I never did understand why he had to die, instead of simply leaving New York; they've successfully turned Kaine into the Scarlet Spider nowadays, why not Reilly? :(

As was the case with a few notable characters at DC, it might be that Marvel editorial just doesn't like Ben Reilly.

hmm yesterday my comixology pull list was telling me it was, but now it's completely disappeared off there and Bunker #2 which it said wasn't out this week now is.

Remender has just tweeted a pic of #5 saying it's out next week.

Superior Spoiler Man:

RIP Superior Spider-Man. I didn't expect him to go like that, but the last issue of this arc should be good.

Waiting for the next issue of Uncanny Avengers feels like I imagine it would have been like waiting for every issue of Uncanny X-Force - horrific! :dread:

Deadpool 26 spoilers:

Downfall reference on the first page!

Trade-waiting Uncanny Avengers. :datass: When I have time I need to find all the singles I appear to have lost when I moved. Or just rebuy them all in trade/omnibuses.

I'm gonna pick up the hard copies in trade. I just need to know how the story goes first. I'm exactly the sort of person that Marvel must love.

Daredevil 1 - once again Waid continues to make this the most fun book on the shelves. I love the art and just the whole remit of Daredevil tackling adversity is brilliant. I also like how Waid can use continuity to his advantage, unlike so many other writers.

I also read Point Blank by Brubaker which I picked up from a discount bin. Being a prelude to Sleeper I was interested and I've read the vast majority of Brubaker's work. Was good, if not outstanding. Still nice to see the players of Sleeper before that storyline. Did anyone read old Wildstorm? Anything I should check out? I've read Ellis' runs on Stormwatch and the Authority, as well as Planetary, but I think that and the already mentioned Sleeper, is it. Any run on Wildcats worth checking out?

Holy gooseberry fool Superior Spidey #30. I guess bleeding cool was right with the rumour that #30 was the last issue. Kind of. Did not expect Otto to just give up like that though.

As to who the Golbin King is, I think bleeding cool is on the money here. spoilers obv.

Uncanny Avengers #18 - HOLY strawberry float. Beautiful Acuna art and that last page. Just wow. By far my favourite marvel book now.

Picked up Green Arrow vol 4, Lemire's first volume, and American Vampire vol 5 as well 8-) Gona binge AV this weekend, only read vol 1 so far.

I think Volume 5 is the end of the first half of the book before the relaunch with Volume 6 being the one-shots they released to fill the gap. You're very nearly up to date.

I've read the first two volumes of American Vampire and it's incredibly slick.

Christ Silver Surfer is just Slott reusing his Doctor Who fanfiction stories isn't it?

Iron Patriot was...ok. Not bad, but eh. I don't feel compelled to read the next issue, like I did with Kot's Zero series.

New Avengers 16 -

"Tell me, T'Challa, have you been able to resist checking to see on how many earths you still rule your people?"
"Would you care to see how few you still rule yours, Namor?"

Not even subtle about ripping off the justice league either
