Has anyone continued watching this? Any good? Just about to burn through the 11 episodes available before the season finishes.

It's better than 4 and 5 but seems to have weird cringeworthy moments now. Guess the extra runtime leads to some flab.

I thought 5 was great so that's heartening news. It's not exactly difficult to be better than season 4. :dread:

It's been alright I think. Some good moments, some poor. Not exactly making myself remember to watch it each week.

I'm waiting for the season to finish before I start it.Only found out half way through this season that it's on the SONY channel on Sky. :fp:
Season 5 was good but I did miss Troy/Donald Glover/Childish Gambino when he left.At least he's focusing on his awesome music now.

The finale is out, and that's that. Probably. Maybe.

Just watched the final three episodes today as I'd kinda fallen out of the habit of watching it weekly. Enjoyed this season, but the show's never going to get back to the season 1/2/parts of 3 days. Thought the finale was a decent way to leave it for whatever ends up happening.

There's definitely been something tonally "off" this season though. Can't really place exactly what it is.

I love me some Community.

I discovered it about 3 years ago just before the final season was due to drop and devoured the whole lot in a couple of weeks. It's probably my favourite "new" comedy show of the last 10 years, it had some real bumpy patches at times and I wish it had maintained the feel and level of quality from the first two seasons throughout but it's still a cracking show all told. The final season was a real winner as well in my view, re-grounded things nicely for a really enjoyable swansong and finale.

Watched and enjoyed both immensely, Good Place is doing some fantastic things though so it's certainly a contender. There have been loads of other recent shows as well, Brooklyn 99, New Girl etc. but Community is one of those special shows in my view, it just grabbed me in a certain way that it's hard to see anything else matching for a while!

I think Chevy is just fantastic in Community... when the show knows what to do with him. The dick-ish but surprisingly wise and supportive character that he gets to play in season 1 is some of the best stuff Chase has done for years. His physical performing is still hilarious to watch as well.

Oh man, I should go back to the first two seasons at some point. Definitely some of the best comedy in years, but it had a real heart too. All of the characters were people to root for (yes, even Shirley). Watching the first 2 Xmas specials has become something of a tradition for me since they aired (especially Abed's Crazy Christmas which is my favourite ep of the show).

Such a shame it became a terrible parody of itself from season 3 onwards. Is the final season worth watching? I saw the first episode, which had promise, but never bothered with the rest.

There are definitely still high points in season 3-6, the real lowest point is season 4 :dread:

I'd give season 6 a go, like I say it's the most grounded the show had been since the early days and doesn't go so deep on the "zany" side of things as they became guilty of in season 3. Your mileage may vary but I'd say it's worth a shot!

First 2/3 seasons of this were dynamite (except the awful Abed Christmas episode), shame how it went in the end.
