It looks like the fighting in the Park has died down.

What a shame.

Community has good episodes for sure, but Parks & Rec is the better show as a whole IMO.

Parks and Rec is more rounded but Community has better single episodes IMO. Probably overall Parks and Rec but it is very close.

Liking Parks and Rec isn't a substitute for a personality folks.

Parks and Rec is the more rounded, more accessible sitcom.

Community, if you're familiar the pop culture references it's making, is better overall but much less accessible.

I prefer Community but I could recommend Parks and Rec to anyone.

I adore both shows, however Parks & Rec's characters are too wholesome and likeable for it to be my favourite. I prefer to see those with huge character flaws, having flaws serves up great comedy but also gives the show more heart because of it.

I was sad when Parks & Rec ended, but devastated when Troy left Community. The show had trouble after Troy left for the rest of season 5 (and the whole of season 4), but season 6 was actually really strong, making the end of the show truly sad.

Both shows alternate (along with The Office US) as my comfort Telly, that I'll watch when I am feeling down.

The last season of Parks and Rec is weird.

If we bring US Office into the mix I'd say

Office US > Parks > Community

Office US is far better than either of those shows. The series finale hit me like a truck.

I couldn't really choose between it and the UK one.

I couldn't get on with Office US. Just found it dull.

I could see why someone would say that about the first season. It copies the UK one too much, but the show gets so much better around Season 2. The characters are great. Creed :datass:

Office US is How I Met Your Mother without a laughter track.

Office US is fun, has some great moments around the middle period but it's very formulaic and really goes off the rails in the last 2-3 seasons which harms its overall standing for me.

Assuming they nail the final season, Brooklyn 99 wins as most consistently great series.

So is the real question: which of these three shows went on way longer than necessary?
