Everytime I try to put up a video now it fails apparently it's probably cause I put so many up they've blocked me, hmmmmm wonder how long that will last.

Can you not get in touch with anyone?

Seems like it's hard to get anywhere on there internet then, even with various sites.

I think it'd be more to do with a limit on bulk uploads by the same person, just to save on overloading issues. Such things will usually unlock in around 24 hours.

No idea I have tried to look into it but cant seem to find out anything. I am just hoping it opens up again at some point.

How many vids do you upload at any one time? I normally just do one a day.

Usually if something goes wrong, i find it helps to open the video in movie maker, and save it again as a different file.

Also, bigger videos can sometimes go wrong when uploading direct from the PS4.

I uploaded about 30 Videos to instergram in about 2 to 3 days

I have tried uploading long and short so its not a length issue so im guessing its a too many too soon issue

Just found out one of my covers has been copyright claimed and it's partially blocked in some territories. Was wondering when this would eventually happen. It must have hit some kind of views threshold or something (It's currently sitting at 600 odd).

Weirdly pointless exercise.

I have had a bit of a challenging week so haven't done anything new... I have been uploading more to instergram with the GRCADE and grcadecollective #'s though. I guess that's something kind of.

I made a horror review and two doctor who videos yesterday but I'm struggling a bit , I think I'm feeling a bit of YouTube burnout.

It's weird how it happens sometimes, some folk get stung with that the moment they upload, while for others, many months can pass before it happens.

I got a claim recently from a video which was uploaded in 2008, and all because of a bit of background music being played on a speaker.

The content ID system that flagged it almost certainly didn't exist in 2008, I've no idea how they handle scanning existing uploads

I sat and watched the Netflix Video Game Documentary High Score so figured id make a short review video on it, I really enjoyed it

I have been a bit short on time recently and find the SNES Review Videos take a lot of work, also had a few private messages that have been very complementary about my horror stuff on Instagram which inspires you to do more.

I have thought about reviewing the new Battletoads game as I am enjoying that anyone else got any plans or videos they are working on?

There are a few people from different places I have contemplated reaching out to for collaborations, a horror person, a pokemon person and a general gamer but I think I need to sort my own output a bit first and I am awful at approaching people.

Wow, cool - that's a really great article! Definitely agree that could make a cracking game.

I guess the trick would be teaching the player enough medicine (or at least medicine-y gameplay concepts) to actually make the decisions non-randomly - but I think it's definitely possible!

Well I'm sold on the concept! Have you ever tried playing with twine? You could probably actually write some version of that type of game in it if you were so inclined. I've not used it myself but Taf was posting some cool experiments with it a while ago.

Thanks Karl, glad you enjoyed! I think we learn so many rules and trends and patterns from the games we play that I don't think learning the basics would be too hard if done well!

But I just admit I treated the article as a What If thought experiment through the lens of gaming than as a real game.

But OR has shown me this Twine lark which looks fun... :)

I'm thinking about dropping my SNES reviews and not doing them anymore as there just not getting watched my last ones had like 5 views and took like probably 7 hours work when you count writing a script recording footage editing recording sound it's almost another part time job. my Cult of Chucky Review has had 200 views and I'd say it took me at very very worst if you even count watching the film and things downloading in the background 2.5 hours, I'd still keep the GRCADE Collective in the videos etc but I'm just thinking it might serve me better this way, but as I started the SNES thing as this big project and really wanted to help pull people to SONM through it and keep the place alive and then went into hoping it could bring people here it feels a bit bad dropping it.

The systems of Youtube are built on interaction. Which is kind of backwards, when you think about it. Without interaction on that video, it's not going to be showing up for people. But because it's not showing up for people, it can't get any interaction on it. If you feel you need to drop them, do so, but don't be so held up on the viewcount. If you still enjoy doing them, that should be all that matters.

I enjoy both the gaming and the horror but getting more views and more feedback does kind of drive me a bit as well so it becomes a bit of a debate in which way do you pull I've loved both horror and games from a young age and there both very me.

It's definitely a bit of a predicament, then. If you can, keep it going to the end of the month, then make that final decision.

Threw something together for Halloween.

Not done anything with Fortnite's replay feature before - or the game in general, content-wise - but as an experiment, I'm pleased with the result.
