I reckon you can wait for it to drop in price, and still have it as your Christmas game.

Yep, bet it will be, probably the week before Christmas.

I remember Sony had Rise on their games of Christmas PSN deal in its launch year. I think it was about 22 quid.

Shroud is playing this on Twitch at the moment. Looks really good. But unlike many here I enjoyed the last one. Not as much as the first though, but a few reviews seem to suggest it's the best of the trilogy, which is really exciting to me. Still, I'll be holding off picking it up until the sales prior to Christmas. I can see the likes of this and Spider-Man being two of the big titles they'll roll out for £18-25.

I enjoyed last two, like a lot -- so hearing that someone who also enjoyed last two didn't enjoy this one at all made me wary a bit.

I'll still give it a proper go but like you said I'll wait for sales.

From memory the last two games dropped dramatically in price not long after release. It’s definitely worth holding on for a price cut!

Few hours in and enjoying it. A couple of moments that have taken me out of the Emerson of the game including a jump grab that worked 1 in 23 times of trying and a graphical glitch watching a spider walk through a tree branch.

Worth playing with headphones as the sound of underwater and the jungle is fantastic

Hmmm I would kind of agree. It’s good and beautiful and polished one monent and glitchy the next. It feels pretty much like the other games but missing something. 4 hours in and not really come across anything breathtakingly new.

Having fun though. Not sure about changing the language to native as Lara still chats to them in English

Few strange moments, one where my light didn’t turn on in a cave leaving me in darkness to work out my way in pitch black. Another were a device to shut out the wind shut the shutters but the wind kept coming. Also there is a section in the game where it freezes with the words waiting for streaming?...

Also if you chat to people and walk away you still face them which is quite funny to watch.

More issues (hope these get patched)

Sometimes button presses don’t register
One of the light puzzles is a chore because there is no fluid motion, sometimes it moves quickly other times it dosnt, no consistency

Also sometimes what looks like a junp isn’t but that was the same in previous games. You can see a platform which looks jumpable because you have done it time and time again but instead you die

All should be fixable and i am still enjoying it

I know it sounds like im not enjoying this game but i am, its just so much is wrong with it. The lighting in caves is all over the place. One minute I can’t see nothing than its fully lit.

Below are two images seconds apart in the same area
