Control - Remedy Entertainment | next gen update & Ultimate Edition on PS+ on Feb 2nd

Have Remedy said if the PS5 version of Control is going to be a brand new release or will it be a ‘smart delivery-esq’ patch for the PS4 version?

btw how long is the main story in this because I'm worried I'm powering through it like I did with Spider-Man Just got to the bit after the Panopticon where you have to go back and meet your brother.

To add - don't power through. The side missions are far better than the central story.

I remember that Alan Wake himself isn’t very fit and end up out of breath after just very seconds of running, which can be annoying on certain sections on the most difficult setting. And the annoying slow motion thing going on when the enemy appears several times in a row.

And I still strawberry floating love it. One of my favourite games.

But...if you want the PS5/XSX version you'll need to buy the ultimate edition, you won't get the next gen version with the original version

This is the kind of confusion we are going to see all too often in the next gen i fear. I will be keeping a close eye out for sale prices on ultimate edition then, as i really want to play the best version of this when i do finally get around to it. Unless it comes to Game Pass of course, and then i will relax my standards accordingly.

Yep, unless they offer a way for people who got the game on release to upgrade for cheaper, this is a real dick move

Will get it when it comes down in price.

Not a brilliant thing to do, but...

I haven't bought it yet and that's not a bad price for the full package of an excellent game. So while I'll still wait for it to hit a sale, it won't have to be a deep one.
