Git gud.

You need to make full use of throwing gooseberry fool in between shooting as it makes things much more manageable.

Haven’t got a scooby what’s going on in the story because I don’t have the time to read/watch the several hundred thousand collectibles it’s throwing at me. But yeah I vaguely recall someone saying that the launch/throw/tk power was OP so naturally I’ve been levelling that up.

The collectibles are the best part of the game! I can't imagine how boring this game must be for someone who isn't drawn in by the world-building.

Yeah I reckon I’m missing out, they’re trying really, REALLY hard to build a world, a lore…but the sheer number of stuff to pick up is a bit ridiculous, it’s like playing something like Psychonauts or Banjo Kazooie.
I’ve just reached the Panopticon. Enjoying it a lot more now I’ve made the combat easier.

The bits that connect the places together: shite.

The places themselves: amaze. (Not counting the strawberry floating mail room and incinerator.)

Yeah navigation is sometimes more of a chore than it needs to be, it's probably the main failing of the game for me. I loved the lore and would be a lot more interested in a new Control game than I am in the new Alan Wake

I think I’ve completed it, but then…well that’s new! One last puzzle to solve I guess. Head spinner!

I loved the lore, it tripled the length of my playthrough. Watch the Threshold Kids videos, even if you just YouTube them rather than finding them in game. They are the highlight of the extras for me.

My strategy was basically levitate, triple barrel rocket launcher, throw crap at them, repeat until they dead. Worked for everything except Tomassi and Mold-1.

I played, finished and very quickly forgot Alan Wake. But Control is so good that I am willing to be interested in the new one.
