Exactly what I thought :fp:

Those workshy millennials would blow it all on flat screen TVs and MP3 players.

In all seriousness though I know how much it can suck. My uncle lost his sense of smell a few years ago and I've noticed he is pretty into spicy food now and he also talks about the texture of things way more than most people would.

Here's hoping it gets better for you Mini

There definitely is.

My favourite is when you get those giant cookies that are both chewy and crunchy. Just the best :D

Thanks, everyone :-). To be honest, I'm infinitely grateful that it's not the fatigue and respiratory symptoms that have stuck around. This definitely sucks, but at least I can still physically function. A few months ago, I also got cheese back which, as I'm sure we'll all agree, is the main priority in life.

Re: showering, you joke but my current anti-perspirant has lasted a suspiciously long time  .

One I forgot to mention is that after who-knows-how-many months of getting no scent at all, all urine now smells like it does after you eat asparagus. Odd one, that.

Narrator: but it hadn't lasted a long time at all.

Does she have symptoms again? I believe you can still test positive for awhile after recovery. It doesn't necessarily mean you "have" it again and are infectious etc.

America has been sending cheques to all the population, corona diagnosis or no. We should be doing the same.

I agree but we won't feed the genuinely struggling people to who can't afford to feed their kids. So I can't see a conservative government doing an act of kindness/humanity.

Unless they can outsource the money giving to a private firm or just give out vouchers to random companies their friends own.

This is the problem with constant tweeks and not keeping things simple.

400 people gather for a wedding, organiser finded 10k.....

5 guests fined £200 each.

395 other guests there, dressed for a wedding in front of police officers don't get fined. Good to see government cracking down.

Outbreak on site at work, a guy in our shared work accommodation has tested positive so I'm off for ten days to isolate. Fantastic.

Initially I was told I needed to return to the flat and isolate with the sick person still there, but strawberry float that, I got home without contact with anyone and am staying there. No way I'm staying at work for ten days sharing facilities with a confirmed case.

She didn't have symptoms the first time, but does this time.
She works in a care home so gets tested weekly.
She also had the first jab a week ago, not sure the relevance of that.

I'm not Doctor but is it possible she's ill from the jab and is still testing positive from the time she already had it?

Police probably had fun with it, threw the bouquet and whoever caught it got fined. Maybe that's why they only charged 5 people.
