My favourite bit is the girl pulling her mask off to howl directly into her friend's face.

I still ultimately blame the government, but people are strawberry floating stupid.

One of my colleagues despite the new restrictions is going to go stay in a caravan with family friends next week 'because she needs to get away, she's been cooped up for too long (inspite the fact she kept going out anyway)'

I hate humanity.

With the current rate of transmission and increase in numbers across cases, deaths and hospital utilisation I think it has become very difficult to justify them remaining open.

I think at this point we need to be back at closing all but essential resources, but I appreciate not everyone will agree with that.

I agree with this fwiw

(Also "essential" was the wrong word to use before because it's binary, but I can't think of a better word right now)

Have to add support for cinemas here. Most have air conditioning pumping fresh air in and taking air out loke a lot of gyms, they are down to about 25% capacity and risk transmission is low due to social distancing.

Through poor decisions, bad and confusing communication and atrocious leadership, there is no feeling that we are in this together anymore. I still maintain we locked down well at the start and while fatigue is still to be expected, the Government ruined people's motivation and commitment. Hardly a surprise that young people don't want to waste their youth anymore especially when they realise the virus is low risk for them. It is selfish, but this is why we needed the Government to lead, and influence behaviour.

There's still some time to spin 126 local lockdowns as not being one big national one to save face.

They're not even lockdowns though. Being able to largely carry on as normal is in no way a lockdown.

Given that I will be paying her, is my hair dresser allowed to come around my house to cut my hair? Apparently builders are still allowed in your house.

I never left full lockdown either. I've only actually left my house 3 times in the last 6 months to go anywhere other than out to the bins which I do every few days.

To be fair to him, you do need to trim it regularly. No one wants a forest down there.

Me too. If I won the lottery I could very easily become a hermit who does nothing but play games and watch movies all day. And I'd be happy.

We've also lived the same all the way through.

We have:

Been out once for a sit in curry
Sat in the pub beer garden once for an hour
Went to another pub for a pizza and 2 drinks.

That's it since march :dread:

Is your hairdresser a builder?
