I actually think he's suffering from some sort of mental deterioration.

Not that it's much consolation to him, but at least that's something. Good that he's made it out of Intensive, but I guess he's still got a long recovery to get through.

AZ found in “serious breach” of contract with EU over vaccine doses.

It didn’t meet its obligation to use ‘best reasonable efforts’ to honour its contract.

However the court only ordered them to supply a lower amount than the EU had applied for a court order for, as the number applied for was above what company showed would be possible with actual ‘best reasonable efforts’

Of course right wing rags crowing about the EU ‘losing’ :fp:

From what little I know about the man he seems to have been pretty deep in to woo stuff for a long while. He ran some weather service that set out to disprove global warming for a long while.

Amusement under late capitalism is the prolongation of work.

I was once married to two women at the same time but I realised it was the wrong thing to do and admitted my crime to both of them.

Was very bigamy.

Took a gamble and outright cancelled my 2nd appointment in order to try and rebook at another location.

Managed to bring my second Pfizer dose forward from 14th August to 29th July, so it'll be about 9 weeks between doses for me.

Brazil.

gooseberry fool, 'tough man' populist leader refuses to adopt protective measures because of his ego. Nearly 500,000 now dead.

World total is getting close to 4 million now as well.

I like how China only admit to 4,846 deaths and 103,467 cases in total, yeah okay China :fp:

I mean, they are totally outright lying about their figures, but they are pretty good at lockdowns. If the state says you are staying in, you are staying in and that's that. Try to break the rules and you'll have the army to deal with, and they don't mess around. Meanwhile if you want to walk around your local supermarket for the fifth time in a day without a mask on in the UK, all that you have to do is say 'I'm exempt' and that's it. I expect that their genuine death figures would still be less than ours for this reason.

The silly neighbourhood vegetable.

Back to over 10,000 new cases today. Imagine if they’d lifted all restrictions yesterday.
