Nope still selling. Essentially they can take them off & eat, no ones forcing them to keep masks on inside. Same as a train, you can board a train & take a coffee on or get food from the food cart. I think LNER are doing trolley orders next week via an app too. Problem is it’s just completely unenforceable in a screen, even with reduced capacity someone would have to sit in, watch everyone & keep telling people to put them on.
On one hand I understand it on the other I think it’s completely redundant for the very fact people buy food & drink in the cinema. As that’s the profit/income for every cinema it just seems bonkers on the other hand.
What’s frustrating is for weeks the cinema groups were discussing with the government guidelines and such & the government kept saying masks weren’t needed, weren’t even needed in the foyer. And then on the day the larger chains began opening up, he drops it in during a morning briefing.
