Remind her of the lockdown rules and that her bf shouldn't be driving hundreds of miles from Newcastle to London?

What should I do?

If you're in Liverpool I wouldn't start anything.

Solid advice for anyone in Liverpool really.

I think I'm just over reacting a bit. I think Im just quite a controlling person when it comes to my personal things like the flat etc, like I like things done my way.

Plus I want to go back to London but at the same time I don't see the point with lockdown in place. London has nothing to offer during a lockdown, working from home in a tiny flat stresses me out big time I can't cope. So I end up going to the office 5 days a week instead. Here at my parents I have big garden, the peace and quiet of living outside of a city. Think I will go back in March sometime instead so that I won't have long to bear before the gyms and non essential shops open again.

Yeah but they were going to die anyway as they had underlying health problems.

I honestly can't believe they've ran with that headline.

I can. Amount of people I saw still clamouring for things to reopen earlier (mostly gyms) or annoyed that the last Premier League games get fans back (most news reports ignoring the fact that it was still a maximum number to be implemented for the headline).

The roadmap is fairly sensible even if I'm doubtful it'll work out as easily as hoped. We rushed reopening twice now and it resulted in awful times, and yet people still want to rush things again?

I don't really want to wait 3 more months until being able to go to cinema but I'd rather wait that then potentially get the rona. But I'm a sensible gibbon at times.

Well that's me convinced, good old Matt! He was just trying to help us.

Actually yes. I think if you know Matt Hancock you shouldn't be allowed a government contract.

You're ignoring the facts.

A man was the landlord of a pub and was great friends with Hancock. He went on to make plastic food containers and had zero experience manufacturing PPE.

But that doesn't mean there's anything corrupt here! Obviously a pub landlord with a few plastic tubes is fully qualified to supply PPE!

That headline is specifically targeted at the generation of people that have become too used to getting everything they want.

Does anyone actually know anyone who's had coronavirus?

Exactly.

Open the country now so we can get back to hunting foxes.

Yeah but it's been proven that old people and people with health conditions don't count.

That was the depressing spin the sun were trying to put on things last week.

On the subject of outdoor meetings, im not sure that the 2 people meeting up makes much difference. I've seen many groups pf parents chatting away at the playground at the park. My son is 7 and begged me to let him go on the slide and I felt pretty terrible doing it but I had to tell him no. I don't know where any of those kids have been!

It will be nice however to have friends I know are clean round for a barbecue once the weather gets warmer.

And why are we sending kids back to school when the daily totals are higher than they were last April? We need september levels before we start doing that.
