Can't help but laugh though .

I get that, but he could sit on a park bench with a bottle and have the exact same experience, probably for half the price.

I don't agree that a park bench is the exact same experience as a pub bench.

I can't say I'd particularly want to just sit there on my own in close proximity of other drinkers in a pub, but I certainly remember seeing older men doing just that back in the olden pre-pandemic days. Maybe it becomes appealing once you get to a certain age?!

Having a drink in your local with mates or just surrounded by regulars is clearly a warm, comforting experience for many.

The problem is, he's in a beer garden all by himself and it's been framed like it was the beer he was desperate to taste again. And it's poured from a bottle of corona that he could do himself at home

Yep, I think he's been truly screwed by the way it's been framed . The production team must have known what they were doing, the bastards!

If you're on your own, you're drinking a bottle and you follow social distancing, then the park bench is identical.

I'd agree a beer garden was/will be different pre/post pandemic.

More chance of chicks in a beer garden.

With a park bench, you just end up looking like alcoholic paedo.

The one time you accidentally order a bottle of corona and not a pint, and you're labelled a plonker.

If you're an old bloke, drinking a corona by yourself in a beer garden during a global pandemic, then I don't think picking up chicks is a likely outcome....

Could very easily have ended up being a disturbing rim based version of a Rick Roll.

That's shocking true based on the previous barbers I would go to. Thankfully, another place opened across the road from them and are much better. Barely says a word and somehow is able to figure out how I like it cut based on my awfully articulated request.

Makes me appreciate my clippers. Skinhead or complete mop, either is better than going to the barbers

I used to have pretty long hair, proper 90s curtains going on, then when I was 20 a mate convinced me cut my hair really short, so I just clipped it all off. I think I only let it grow out once since and it was gooseberry fool, so it's always been clipped short. Of course now I don't have a choice unless I want to look like I work in IT :dread:

The woman who has cut my hair for about the last 6 years has quit to become an estate agent :(

She was good at her job and had a nice bum :(
