The school my wife teaches at has 3 confirmed cases, and has sent 200+ kids home for a week. :fp:

Confirmed cases at our University, seven days before I go in to teach face to face. Excellent. I give it two weeks before literally everything gets moved online.

Not that we're going out anyway, we're trying to isolate at the moment as if I catch it I won't be able to go the hospital when my wife gives birth in the next few weeks.

We've got the 20 week scan coming up, and yet again, I won't be able to attend. :(

Really hope all stays well for you both and you get to be there.

Yeah I wasn't able to attend any of the scans.

Cheers mate, hope the 20 week scan goes well-do you know what you're having?

Nope, and we're not finding out either. Have you found out?

We did end up going for a private scan, that I was allowed to attend, after the 12 week one. Will have to wait and see if we do again after this one, but if this R number stays high, you wonder of it's worth the risk?

Yeah, we're having a boy. My wife is too impatient to not find out

I was waiting in the car park and she came out of the scan and was like ITS A BOY!

I'm quite impressed by the number of frank assertions by vets and medical professionals they managed to get for that article, as a reptile keeper myself.

Okay, so quick question (as i can't seem to find any info on this), if i go to McD's and have take away, do i still need to give them my details for track and trace?

Really would rather avoid having to do that, so if it only applies to those who eat in, then i may well decide to proceed (i haven't been back there since lockdown).

This is ridiculous, snakes have been well documented actually spreading deadly diseases like foxdie.

You only need to give your details/scan the qr code if you are eating in, if its a take away you just need to wear a mask,

Remember when the lockdown first came in to effect and people genuinely thought it would last 3 weeks, so started putting their Christmas decorations up

Coronavirus: Testing issues 'will be solved in a matter of weeks', says Hancock

Take as long as you need Matt, this isn't time sensitive at all and no one could have expected tests to run out when your massively increased the testing target.

Morrissey, Ian Brown, Noel Gallagher.

Is there anybody famous from Manchester that isn't a complete prick?

Weirdly Liam seems to be a mask wearer although I guess he's still a prick.

Mocking the government is fair enough, the rules are daft.

I'll put Liam down as "definitely maybe a prick". Which makes him the best famous Manc so far.

He plays for Man U. It'll take more than feeding starving children to move him out of the twat category.
