If we can actually figure out how to do it, and the supplies actually arrive. Argh this is a bit premature.
Also watch out in stats - a person needs 2 doses separated by about 21 days (edit sorry said weeks by mistake) to be immunised, so the number you see might be an exaggeration.

Thanks for the kind words yesterday, sorry for being a bit wobbly.

1 million people is just under 20% of the population of Scotland. Will that be replicated across the UK?

Meanwhile in Adelaide.... :fp:

From Apple News
South Australia was plunged into a six-day hard lockdown based on a lie told to contact tracers by a COVID-positive worker at an Adelaide pizza shop.

South Australians will be allowed to exercise outside their homes, effective immediately, while the state will end its hard lockdown earlier than planned as a result of the revelation.

Authorities are now racing to contact thousands of people who may have come into contact with the COVID-positive worker at the Woodville Pizza Bar who lied to contact tracers. The man was infected by his co-worker, a security guard who contracted the virus at the Peppers quarantine hotel in Adelaide's CBD and also worked at the pizza shop.

"The lie was the person claimed that they had purchased a pizza from the pizza shop, where in fact they were working there and had been working there for several shifts," South Australia's Police Commissioner Grant Stevens said.

"That clearly changes the circumstances and had this person been truthful to the contact tracing teams, we would not have gone into a six-day lockdown.

I might be wrong here but if they don't have symptoms but are waiting for a test result then I don't think you have to self isolate (unless the test comes back positive). If they have symptoms then I think you do have to isolate.

Test came back negative. What a relief.

That person was quite Badelaide.

(Joking aside, they should get the jail for that, sounds like they were doing undeclared delivery work and put protecting themselves over the mental health of hundreds if not thousands of others people in South Australia.)

I'm confused why that changes having to go into the six day lockdown though?

I guess because they can now trace all his contacts. Maybe they were assuming he caught the virus elsewhere as being in a shop only to collect a pizza might not be sufficient exposure to catch it.

My oven decided to die last night. So this is good timing.
