Has anyone else started having weird effects from lockdown? I know we are allowed out now but I keep trips out to the minimum. However for the last month or so I've found I have been extremely tired all the time. To the point where I could literally sleep the entire day. I've tried everything, changing my diet, no alcohol, been taking vitamin B and D for a few months, but if anything it feels like I'm getting more exhausted each day. :?

Getting bookings in the pub is a nightmare. Like gold dust.

Have you had covid recently? Because that sounds very similar to my long covid symptoms....

Also worth considering you can get long covid even if you were asymptomatic when you had covid so is it possible you caught it without realising?

Got my Birthday booked in at the pub, hopefully the weather warms up a bit.

As for going out, I try and go out at least 4-5 times a week normally for runs or walks.

I've been feeling like this too and I think it's more likely I've just adapted to this life of extreme laziness. My body is now so used to doing the bare minimum that it probably feels like it's being murdered whenever I am even slightly more active.

Getting my 2nd jab 3 weeks early, on Thursday, beating the people I know in the NHS. Feel very relieved, being ‘Clinically Extremely Vulnerable’ and having to shield all this time.

You might be slightly depressed - it can manifest in loads of different ways. Worth chatting to the GP perhaps if things don't improve.

As of yesterday I am pfully Pfizered. My wife and I got it at the same time - we both feel a little bit achey today, probably a bit moreso than the first one. Sore arm is about the same...

Biontech Comirnaty, which I think is the Pfizer one.

Hmm interesting. I hadn't considered that. I don't know personally if any contacts I have been near over the last year that have had Covid, none of my family have had it, but then I've basically kept contact to a minimum so would have been unlikely to spread it, but it's possible.

Think it could be what Dobo suggests, maybe mild depression. I think my next course of action is to make sure I exercise regularly and force myself not to nap in the day. I'll try that for a few days and see if it helps.

More worrying news about the AZ jab, I think it's 19 globally that have died to the end of March, who have had the jab, and have subsequently died from clots. It seems the health authorities are starting to concede the evidence is getting stronger but that there is still no proven link.

Granted the risks are still tiny, but it certainly seems sensible to give under 30s a different jab according to risk factors.

20MILLION doses and 20 deaths that might possibly be linked.

The anti-vaxxers are going to love this but any risk is utterly minuscule.

I'm asking for a double dose of AZ for my first jab to prove my genetic superiority

My 23 year old sister got a spare AZ vaccine around 10 days ago and her arm swelled up and got really warm. GP told her it was an infection caused by the vaccine and gave her antibiotics.

In hindsight she was probably better off waiting in case that was a bloodclot. Her arm looks better now though.

How many people in the same time period within a population the same size and make up of the vaccinated population would be expected to die from blood clots? Because the difference between that and actual deaths from blood clots is what you need to be considering.

Also, as many have pointed out, that rate is many, many times lower than those for hormonal contraception, which is widely accepted.
