Now that's a cracking score!!! Boosting counts towards end of level score bonus too, but obviously comes with risks.

Not sure what the highest score possible is though to be honest :)

EDIT: Just let the person who you took the top spot from know. I'm pretty sure he will be up for the challenge 8-)

Wow, this is awesome! Like all the best shmups the enemy placement seems to have been carefully considered, there's obviously a lot of depth here that isn't immediately obvious. Great stuff, and I've just made it my first ever backing on Kickstarter. 43k on my first go, but I was only picking up the scoring system by the third level so I'll look to better that shortly.

Oh by the way Starquake, if you'd like any advice on creating the Achievement or Trophy list, feel free to send a PM my way. Obviously I have a lot of experience in that area. :lol:

I felt like I did ok at first but then kept dying in the 3rd bit. Most of the time because the other ships kept flying into me when I was turning around. Seemed to take ages to destroy all the points I needed to as I couldn't tell where they were.

The Kickstarter funding has hit £9k :toot: . It has been a terrific start and I hope that the momentum is there to enable the £15k goal to be reached.

77724 on my first go, you can tell I used to love Uridium on my C64. Don't want to sound like some crazy lunatic but I honestly believe that this game has something about it that will really catch on, and the mainstream player as well as proper old gamers will love it

I'll definitely recommend the game to everyone I know as I think they'll love it.

Any potential release date yes?

P.s. I didn't really get that score and I was rubbish at Uridium,just wanted to make people gasp :slol: , but I meant everything else. Super cool game. The music could easily be by C64 genius Rob Hubbard, it's so awesome.

Thank you and glad you are enjoying the little demo. The final version has more power up types that aren't in this demo. The later levels keep mixing things up and gradually turn the heat up.

Also, yes please PM me the kind of achievements and trophies you'd like to see. The final game will have the medal system in place which will need repeat plays through levels to get them all.

Bloody hell, now that is good (quietly goes and checks his own best score)

Glad you really enjoy the game. When we've been to expos we find that kids between about 7-10 are possibly the demographic that spends the most time with the game. Hopefully it will appeal to all though.

We are targeting roughly end of June. That may seem like a little while off, but I actually have to get certain parts of the game done much earlier for various test submissions etc.

What does the formation score mean?

I suck so bad at this. I just die so suddenly. I can't move for ships flying at me. Sometimes I get power ups but I've no idea what they really look like. It's so busy. I did really well last time getting to the boss bit but then GAME OVER jerk appeared.

Tbh this isn't something I really play much. But I'll give it some more tries.

The Kickstarter is now just over £9.7k... it would be nice to see that rise a bit more over the course of the weekend so that we can push towards that £15k goal during the coming weeks. Hopefully a few GRcadians can help to spread the word :D .

TWA, the enemy fighters come in from either side in a formation, they will change formation patterns during flight too. The formation bonus is for shooting down full formations before they fly out (they will make a few passes by first)

Just checking, you know you energy will restore if you stay put of danger a short while?
