Yeah I've seen that too, apparently this part of an extract that was sent to retailers. Hope it's true as that would make the £50 price tag less of a rip off.
If true, that would be more levels than Crash Bandicoot 1, 2 and 3 combined. That then shifts the question to whether they can keep the variation in the levels fresh.
Not that other games of its type (Spyro trilogy) were small either, and that was less than £30.

they said the same about Crash Team Racing and added them in a month later, so technically as of right now that statement is correct, but this is Activision we're talking about.
Just as Activision did with Hawks, making a demo for a game you first have to purchase is properly stupid. It’s not like the original Crash demos were very big or long either (literally 1 level).
I want to but most of the shops are selling in between £50-£60.
EDIT: Not only this reason, I may hold back until PS5 release so I can play on it instead of PS4. Sony haven't explained how the cross save work or it may not be happening. Save my time to play it twice.
I'm surprised about the comments on the prices as I don't see why the price of a full new platform game would be cheaper than other genres. Yes £60 is expensive but this just seems to the price required to make a full 20 hour game for the current gen and will only get worse for next gen unless new development processes are found to reduce development time.
£50 is a heck of a lot of money for a Crash Bandicoot game, yes it looks great and Toys for Bob look to have put their all in it, but £50 is a bit rich, £40 would've been more reasonable.
Still will porbably buy it for £50 as it does look awesome.

A demo is a way for people who are undecided on the game, to see if they like it, not a dam pre-order bonus.
