Yeah I've seen that too, apparently this part of an extract that was sent to retailers. Hope it's true as that would make the £50 price tag less of a rip off.

Here it is what I saw.

If true, that would be more levels than Crash Bandicoot 1, 2 and 3 combined. That then shifts the question to whether they can keep the variation in the levels fresh.

Not that other games of its type (Spyro trilogy) were small either, and that was less than £30.

I hope that if it is 100 levels the majority of them are not gooseberry fool.

Toys for Bob said no microtransactions, which is reassuring.

they said the same about Crash Team Racing and added them in a month later, so technically as of right now that statement is correct, but this is Activision we're talking about.

How would micro transactions in a normal Crash game work? Unlock all levels and extra costumes, I presume?

I’m getting a bit miffed with this pre-order get a demo bollocks.

A demo (used to be anyway) an opportunity to try before you buy. A demo as I buy seems redundant

Just as Activision did with Hawks, making a demo for a game you first have to purchase is properly stupid. It’s not like the original Crash demos were very big or long either (literally 1 level).

Tbh Activision has really doing a great job with thier old IP's for the last few years, shame they have to pull this BS with this demo.

A demo is a way for people who are undecided on the game, to see if they like it, not a dam pre-order bonus.

Who's getting this?

I want to but most of the shops are selling in between £50-£60. :dread: :fp:

EDIT: Not only this reason, I may hold back until PS5 release so I can play on it instead of PS4. Sony haven't explained how the cross save work or it may not be happening. Save my time to play it twice.

I'll buy it when it's £30 or under. Just far too expensive at £60.

Not heard of any PS5-specific upgrades though.

Yeah £60 is too much. I'd like to play it and my wife was going to buy it herself, until she saw the asking price.

I'm surprised about the comments on the prices as I don't see why the price of a full new platform game would be cheaper than other genres. Yes £60 is expensive but this just seems to the price required to make a full 20 hour game for the current gen and will only get worse for next gen unless new development processes are found to reduce development time.

£50 is a heck of a lot of money for a Crash Bandicoot game, yes it looks great and Toys for Bob look to have put their all in it, but £50 is a bit rich, £40 would've been more reasonable.

Still will porbably buy it for £50 as it does look awesome.
