I sold my (excellent condition) Secret of Mana a little while back on e-bay for unbelievable money. Crazy times. You can get it on VC for £7, or a cartridge only for about a tenner!

I put it up for a fair amount, but a bidding war broke out. What can you do!

I made the decision to only buy old games in cart only form a while back (with occasional exceptions), and a big part of that is how much the price can fluctuate on boxed w/instructions copies. It's surprising how much value the extraneous stuff can add.

If you're ever considering selling games; keep everything that came with them!

Boxed Super Scope, yeah 8-)

Unfortunately whoever had it before me ripped the price sticker off rather too vigorously :x

I seriously had to think about it before buying my new sealed copy from a Play.com marketplace seller for £35 3 years ago. Insane.

I wouldn't sell my opened copy though as I love the game too much. Still crazy money though. V also goes for a pretty penny.

i'm interested to see what it actually goes for...

theres another as a buy it right now for £250, wonder if this will surpass...

i find this rediculious,

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Star-Wars-Amstrad ... 483f737ed7

a tenner for a cassette game, GTFO, no more than a few pounds, i'm tempted to message the guy, and see if he'll let me post a blank cassette to him to copy the frakking game and send it back, a tape in an envelope would cost maybe 40p? maybe throw in a 50p for his time.

That's actually pretty cheap. It often goes for around £100. I've sold 2 of them, the first for about £40 back in 2002, and the second one for about £70 in 200...err...2007 maybe.

Probotector on the Mega Drive is rare, but worth nowhere near that much. Don't bite.

Only completed listings are any indication of worth.

Yeah, if you're ever looking to sell something on eBay, a completed listing search can be very useful.

For some reason, this one goes for a lot more than the others. Crazy eBay price indeed, but I'm still not selling mine 8-)
