Follow your heart, but I'd stick to 5e if I were DMing for the first time. Pathfinder can be a bit more complicated, in terms of rules.

I need people who are up for it first.

But you won't know who's up for it unless you make a thread...!

Oh, I like the help. I just wasn't sure if I should make one is all.

Well, I was just thinking, there are probably people who might be interested in "GRcade D&D" who aren't interested in Critical Role / D&D in general. So I figured you might get more nibbles in a new thread.

It's totally up to you of course! I'm very excited to hear about GRcade D&D even if I might not be able to play*, so I'm definitely hoping you get some interest!

(* I like D&D but I don't have consistent free time, so for me, it'd have to be quite a "dip in and out, low commitment, turn up when you feel up to it" affair. I know most campaigns aren't like that...!)

Well, session 7 was last/this morning. We travelled to a place to speak to a Banshee to get a book, we failed to get the book. When we left the Banshees abode we were surprised by a treasure hunter who wanted to know the info we had received from the Banshee, well, we explained that we had no info and then I told them about the chest in there and they should check it out. He asked why we didn't want to check it and we had some excuse about us not wanting it as we were here for another reason, he asked our names as well as he wanted them for some reason I said we were John, Jack and Jill. I had to make a deception check to convince the guy of our names and to go get the chest. I rolled a 26 when adding my deception modifier, he went in and as he went for the chest 3 giant spiders came in a mauled him to death. It was strawberry floating hilarious.

We later checked out a run-down farming area with a few houses and didn't really get much in the way of loot. After chatting we slept through the night and then headed towards Old Owl Well, there we came across some zombies who we attacked, as we did a man came out of a tent screeching about don't hurt he's zombies, we had a conversation with him and he wanted us to get him an artifact or something, we didn't trust him and the cleric was really not happy with him so we said we would make a deal he just needed to shake the cleric's hand, which he did. Then he died. Basically, the cleric used a spell 'Inflict Wounds' on him as he shook her hand, luckily the attack hit and the damage needed to take out the Necromancer was 22 and she hit him for 23 instantly killing him, as he died he screeched about us tricking him, but strawberry float that guy. We ended there. Was a fun session.
