Watched it my lunch hour. Delighted with it honestly.
Not just a great finale but a great episode. What I mean is a lot of my comfort, rewatchable comedy have nice endings - but you often wouldn't stick a finale on after the pub on Friday. Wrapped up the show in a nice way - but as well as a great finale as funny as it's best episodes, take away it being special still probably in the top 15 best episodes.
There's a few special episodes throughout it's run that could have served as it's finale (
the Seinfeld oneend of season 7,
when he "dies"end of season 5,
The wholesome one when he settles down with the Blacks end of season 6 or just end of season 8
in Paris - he's going to be like this forever) -
but
knowing this is the finale it was always going to hit me in the feels when the music kicked in - it's been going for all of my adult life!
