The QOTSA (album) songs I've heard live on Youtube are better than the studio versions imho. The studio versions are a bit.... drier.
Haven't listened to enough of either SFTD or this one to compare them, though.

New song from a guy from my hometown, only 17 years old.
My town is ridiculous for musical talent for the size of it. Has around 20,000 people but so many musicians famous country-wide (Ireland btw) and a few well renowned music bloggers too.

Was listening to Motorhead (ALWAYS a good choice) but then I saw QOTSA mentioned so I put Songs For The Deaf on.

Going to pimp out another local band, Squarehead. These guys are amazing, think they're going to get pretty big once they get their album out in a few months. Probably my favourite band at the moment.
