Bunch of stuff really.

Lego Marvel [360] It's Lego. It's Marvel. Both of best worlds yes. Almost done with main story levels, but will aim for 100% - going to take a while considering I only play it till I get bit fed up.

The Binding of Issac: Rebirth [PC] I know I've said it before, but I really love this. I never got on with original at all but this feels more smooth (granted, it's 60FPS while flash is 30fps) and it looks much better. Really glad I bothered to buy it. Still stink at it though but don't mind dying so much.

Orcs Must Die! [PC] I figured I'd start playing it properly so I did. Turns out I lack imaginative when it comes to kill orcs... I tend to abuse archers as well use wall arrows / floor spikes as well mowing them down with crossbow. I did have laugh when I used these traps that makes them go up into air, and fall into acid pool but yeah, I just pretty much stick to same thing. Probably will change though considering I just got to Act II.

Tiny & Big: Grandpa's Leftovers [PC] I like it, although I stink at it.... I've been dying so many times and I kept missing collections. strawberry float sake, ah well - could always replay it but I'll focus on beating it, which doesn't seem long game considering I'm now on Level 4 (I think?) out of Level 6.

Also playing through Borderlands 1 [PC] with two to three friends from time to time. Great stuff, though we can't wait till we've moved to BL2 tbh.

Sunset Overdrive when I get a chance. Damn good fun, and keeps getting better.

I need to start checking my Wii U daily logs because I just know I have put a stupid amount of time into this game over the last week, 3-5 hours a day on average I'm sure. It's just got so much content, it's going to be a long time before I need to buy any of the DLC.

I've taken a break from this game but I get what you are talking about

I had about 35 hours on it and I have no doubt I will return when the next DLC hits. I haven't even done the first adventure mode map yet, never mind the Master Quest one. I kinda burnt out on the Legend Mode, but the Adventure mode is just too awesome.

Then it wouldn't have worked anywhere near as well (if at all) in co-op, which is the only way to play 3D World.

Continuing my joyless adventure through online MP, I've been playing quite a bit of CoD Advanced Warfare (PS4 version) this weekend. For all its manic pace and twitchy gameplay it's definitely one of the easier online MP games I've sampled. And, shockingly, I've been mainly playing this properly online against real players. Making progress in the rankings and the unlocks seems to be fairly trouble-free (at least, at these early stages, I suppose). That's a bit of a surprise. Is it good news for me and bad news for the 'serious' online players? Is the MP game too easy for them? I've watched a few Playstation Live streams and even the 'experts' seem to be dying an awful lot (and often getting quite antsy about it, lol). Amazingly, I even won us a three-round match of Capture The Flag this afternoon and I was by far the lowest ranked, least experienced online gamer there. Funny how that goes (I have the game footage to prove it, if anyone's interested).

Also this weekend, I've spent a fair amount of time with Battlefield 4 (PS4 version) - my unloved, red-haired stepchild of a game. I decided it was high time I explored all that multi-gigabyte Season Pass content. I've risen to Level 25 (a Sergeant Class V, I think) and unlocked at least half of all the various bits and bobs for each class along the way. Yes, I died an awful lot. Such a miserable affair, although it has to be said the sheer mayhem of 64 players on maps like Operation Metro, Pearl Market and Operation Locker does make things quite fraught and random at times. Occasional, brief flashes of fun might even have been detected in between merciless headshots I seemed always to be on the receiving end of. Is it fair to say that playing as a sniper is a coward's way out? Me, I just grab a SMG and leg it straight into the action - what will be, will be, etc. Playing with a sniper rifle seems a bit like opting for the relative safety of ranged combat over the blood and gristle of getting stuck in to the centre of things. If that's the case, Battlefield 4 is very over-represented in the cowards' department - they are quite literally everywhere. All the time.

I still don't enjoy online gaming in the least; seems to me to be a fairly equal mixture of frustration, anxiety, panic and unintentional comedy (or should that be pathos?). How anyone could do this quite as determinedly and with such dedication as - quite clearly - so many do is quite beyond me. Guess I'll never be a 'true' gamer. :(

Speaking of which, Killzone Shadow Fall (PS4) quietly received yet another free MP map ('Academy') at some point last week (something I only discovered on firing up the game for a quick play against the excellent AI bots yesterday). The game now boasts 17 glorious MP maps with all modes and (permanent) challenge progression, XP and gear unlocks enabled for offline bot play.

All in all in a very multiplayer-centric weekend was had. But not necessarily always enjoyed. ;)

I've gotten totally hooked on Hatsune Miku. Bought the first Project Diva F game for Vita on sale a few weeks ago, and put over 25 hours into it. The music has really grown on me, and gets stuck in my head constantly. Got Excellent or Perfect on all songs in easy difficulty and am working through Normal. I bought the DLC songs and I've pre-ordered the 2nd game (out in a few weeks). I even downloaded one of her concerts. Much to my wife's bemusement.

Any other fans? I know Stay Dead collects the figures.

Took an evening away from Codies & their raging little chubby for gymkhana & have been playing Split Second. Like a breath of fresh air, just what I needed I think.

Alien Isolation. I was enjoying this to begin with but 6 chapters in I'm starting to get a bit tired of the random, nigh unavoidable deaths.

The Swapper (PC)

It's brilliant, this. The puzzles are difficult but more manageable for me - just how I like them. Pulling off swapping while jumping and other stuff is amaze balls

Thought I had done the worst gymkhana challenge in Dirt 3 yet ( gymkhana sprint 2) but Codemasters be like: ''THINK AGAIN'' little bitch. Your torment hasn't even begun

And I'm like Clay Davis

http://youtu.be/l1dnqKGuezo

Basically I'm racing against Santa in a canoe boat down a slope, yet for some reason, my fat car is bouncing all over the place like a fat drunken telly tubby.
Hang on a minute I thought, this happened on top gear yet their car wasn't bouncing the strawberry float around like mine, they must of put slicks on mine or something because DAAAAAYUUUUUM I can't control this mummy strawberry floater.
Where am I now?. Oh I've bounced off into the hedge like a dirty peado waiting outside a school.

Oi, next time how about give a car that isn't as unstable as an old persons hips.

Zelda Wind Waker - I had forgotten so much of this wonderful games and am effectively on to the second part. Looking to get through a lot of the sidequests before I get back to the main quest. The graphics in 1080P are absolutely brilliant and I haven't enjoyed a game like this for a long while - so well made and the additions such as the swift sail and tingle bottles are a nice touch.

The Last of Us Remastered - A bit different from what I thought the game was all about and feels like this is the direction the Resident Evil games should have gone to. So far impressed by the story telling and the visuals are great. The 30fps mode gives me motion sickness - never experienced it in a videogame, it really is a weird feeling.

So after purchasing it 2 days ago, I've already played 13 hours of Rogue Legacy :slol:

I genuinely can't remember the last time a game gripped me like this. I don't even notice the time passing me by.

I need to get back to that, what I played of the HD remaster was lovely but unfortunately I really regretted picking hero mode; the lack of recovery hearts made the gameplay more a chore than a challenge. Shame as the original difficulty is too easy, so I'd probably prefer a happy medium between the two!

I love the sidequests in WW too, I rarely stay focused on the main quest because exploring the oceans and finding new islands is too much fun

Oh yes it is a lot of fun. It's a real pleasure just getting to every square and filling in my map - just one to go! Got a few surprise hearts along the way, along with taking part in auctions and visiting Tingle Island!

I would say this was probably 2 main dungeons from being the best Zelda ever made - OOT still holds that accolade imo and Twilight Princess is the most 'full' in terms of main quests, but lacks the character and atmosphere of the MM, OOT and WW.

Would love a remaster of Skyward Sword and reckon we might get it right at the end of the Wii U's lifespan along with Super Mario Sunshine as I doubt Nintendo will invest heavily in the console. They are clearly focusing on maximising their revenue streams at this point and cutting costs, clearly shown by their Amiibo range, quick turnaround in smaller games and the New 3DS.

Will get back to WW later, but have Bayonetta 2, which I have still not started and then GTA5 and possibly Far Cry 4 next week.

PES 2015 will also take up a lot of my time - best footie game since PES 5/6 and by a long way too!

I'm doing my second play through of The Wonderful 101. Diplomacy has failed! Team, Unite up!

I've played a little bit of the Mario Kart 8 DLC. The mute city track is amazing. They added some F-Zero sound effects and music. So good.

Had a quick blast of of Contrast last night as I had it sat on my PS4 after getting it free on PS+, seems fun but I get the impression it will be really short. Not sure what the story is all about but from the tone of the collectibles I reckon

Been wasting my day trying to get the platinum medal on the bobsleigh challenge in Dirt 3, I also watched the top gear race & Amy did it in 61 seconds. So technically Codemasters, that 57 seconds you put down is wrong.

In future, pay attention.
