Ghosts.

Got it for £21 off amazon for the one.

It's not "that" bad. SP is certainly a million times better than battlefield. Though I think I could craft a better single player experience.

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

Pokemon Soul Silver

Got a bit bored with Diamond so decided to start this, still early on (just beat the 2nd gym) but I might have to restart after accidentally releasing a 'mon I'd taught the flash TM to :fp:

Kingdom Rush

Not a bad little TD game considering it cost less than £1, seems to be a bit more like an rpg than most other TD type games too which can only be a good thing.

Trials Evolution

It's getting a bit hard now, just got to the first endurance track and ran out of time after 136 faults, the fault limit for silver is 5.

XIII is strawberry floating terrible.

Still got a better/more sensible plot than VIII though.

Forgot how unforgiving the time trials were in Tomb Raider Anniversary. No room for error and 30 minutes on some of them means if you strawberry float up its a lot to redo!

I think you can buy the Flash TM somewhere but I might be mistaken.

Tragic Magic wrote:Had a mission go proper tits up last night in Xcom Enemy Within. I probably could've salvaged it but the first soldier to get shot down was one I named after my fiancee. She was also a pretty powerful soldier so emotion took over and I scrapped my current plan to try and send people to revive her before she bled out. As a result, I lost two more of my best troops and barely made it out alive. The three soldiers that survived are all in hospital now with serious wounds and I'm mostly left with an army of squaddies.

On the plus side, I'm earning a decent chunk of money each month now so when I actually get some resources together, I should be able to buy some decent upgrades and weaponry. Just gutted about that last mission. :(

I've done the same and it is tough when she goes down! Incredible game, and makes me want to go back to enemy unknown afterwards.

I am not too far through within, but I'm finding it pretty tough. That feeling of dread when you need a shot to connect, and it doesn't!

Final Fantasy XIV on PC.

Really loving this. At first I wasn't sure as it felt slow but once things get going it really clicks, although I haven't found good community yet - the Free something I'm in isn't very chatty. might disband since I was using them for group buffs but they haven't been in effect for while so may as well find another group that likes to chat.

At the moment I'm Lv17 Lancer and Lv8 woodcrafting thingy. Crafting seems take forever but I really find it addictive  Only do it at end of session though as it does take while and I'd rather to progress through quests first!

VIII was part of my childhood so I'm biased on that. Something like 10 years since I last replayed it mind. In fact, the last JRPG I played before now was Lost Odyssey about 5 years back.

Anyway I've held back on starting X HD and picked up Tales of Xillia, and being the first Tales of game I've ever played it's just amazing. It's got all of the old-school JRPG tropes I really wanted to experience when starting XIII (even though I knew there were none to speak of) but a great battle system to boot.

I'm hunting out Graces and the Symphonia re-release next.

Graces no good then? Well Symphonia is the priority, I've seen it for £25 new which sounds about right. Probably won't dip all that much lower.

Graces has a good battle system (shut up Lagamorph) but the story and characters are really terrible. I enjoyed it for a while but once the story starts taking over the gameplay the game just drops off a cliff.

Xillia 2 and Zestiria are due this year, so I'd say play through Symphonia and wait on those two.

I am so excited for Zestiria.

I liked Graces.

Though I haven't completed it :shifty: Why won't they do Vesperia + for US/UK PS3 I'll never know. (Or even better, Vita) :(

Sprained my wrist playing football, so can't really play much right now. Decided it was time to play another Phoenix Wright game so going through Justice For All. I don't find myself laughing quite as much as I did during the first game, but still love almost all the characters they throw up.

Open to other suggestions of games that can be played by poking at the touch screen as slowly as you like

How about these DS touch-screen, slower-paced classics... Puzzle Quest, Anno 1701, Hotel Dusk, Soul Bubbles and, of course, the Layton series.

Off-Road Drive (PC)

Probably the best 'off-roader' I've played. Very technical, very slow and very good value for £5.95 in the Steam Weekly Sale.

A quick capture I made with Shadowplay:

Not much time for video gaming at the moment, but still playing Half Life 2.

Quite enjoying it.

I'm also trying to complete the final special levels in Super Mario 3D Land which is, as they say, "doing me strawberry floating head in".

I'm also playing Out There on my Nexus 7, but it's not really grabbing me.

...and I'm playing Mario Kart Wii with the boy. Which despite all it's crap gimmicks and cheapness is pretty good fun.

That's what I'm currently playing in 2014.

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.

DmC on PS3. I recently renewed my PS+ subscription so I could make a dent in the tonne of unplayable games I currently have sat on my hard drive. I decided to start with DmC. I'm about 4 or 5 missions in and rather enjoying it. It certainly doesn't seem as unforgiving as earlier entries in the series.
