What? Why?

He's a complete idiot.

Not only does he [is]leave his mortal enemy alive at the end of 2, which almost immediately comes back to bite him in the ass[/is], but just his general leaping about. Yeah it's just errors in the game design, but the fact he has problems with grabbing things half the time if you're not coming at it from the exact angle. Or if you want to jump from a rooftop to a slightly lower rooftop, but you're just that bit too high to just hold R1....if you press X, instead of just jumping down to the next rooftop, he'll leap as far as possible, launching over a few rooftops to the ground several floors below :fp: :fp:

So, halfway through Starfox Adventures, which I had previously described as one of my favourite games, and by crikey is it becoming a drag. I'd forgotten how many of the areas only exist to slow you down while the next main area is loading 'behind the scenes'. I'm not sure how this could have been improved, and it's certainly the lesser of two evils (loading screens being the alternative), but their inclusions are so blatant that it seriously sours the whole experience. And you know I also said I didn't mind the voice acting? I lied.

Anyways, it's become a war of attrition now, but as I'm 52% of the way through it I may as well see it through to the end.

Killzone SF - Pretty but average (good pew pew pew, though)
Tearaway - Don't look at the sun! Too, too fugly. Everything else
Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD - It's giving me neckache.
SF/Tekken: First SF game in years (not counting the ones I played on the 360 with the shitty pad). Really enjoying it.

Played up to chapter 4 of The Walking Dead on the vita yesterday. Got quite a shock in chapter 3! Thrilling stuff, will be playing more today. Also will be replaying it to see how things might change.

Really need to finish Bioshock infinite, the last of us and dishonored but I feel like setting up the wii again and playing a load of games on that instead.

Will probably cave and play the ps4 and killzone today. Keeping the rest of the games for Christmas though.

Okay, agreed on the spoilered bit - but about the acrobatics? Yes, sometimes it goes wrong but still: when it goes right it is pretty impressive! Could you jump off a 100 meter high tower into a cart filled with tree leaves? And walk away unharmed?

A Link Between Worlds

I didnt like the item system at first but Im at the point now where its changed and I can actually hold on to the items so its getting better and better. I keep forgetting I can merge into the walls though meaning Im making the game way harder than it should be. :fp:

Been playing Game Dev Tycoon, really enjoyed it so far, managed to get a 10/10 game made (a MGS rip-off called Iron Gears for the 'Vonny Playsystem') and now have a couple of million quid to invest in developing another.

Have also made some shocking catastrophies too.

This week I ave mostly been playing... Assassins creed 3.

Not enjoying it. I hope this doesn't have those god awful tower defense games from the last game.

Edit: didn't see that coming @ the end of chapter sequence 3.

That doesn't make it a good idea :P

3D World. Joy, bliss, the right amount of frustration.

I can't even find any small faults with it, I don't believe in perfection in video games, but this is pretty close to that. I'm not sure I will be able to finish it 100% as it may be beyond my skills, but I'll give it a damn good shot.

Still playing Infamous 2. Just mopping up side-quests as Evil!Cole, and probably have to grind to get enough XP to buy all powers.

It's good.

The real grind comes if you want to see both endings as you will have to grind from evil to good (or vice versa) and it is pretty slim pickings finding people to kill/save at that point in the game.

Yes?

I got most of the evil powers pretty much faster than I do with the good playthrough as I'm always firing at the innocent people around me.

Papers, Please

Seems pretty good but the pixel art style is playing havok with my eyes and the repetitious nature of the game is really starting to make my wrist ache.

Still playing Puppeteer. Since Canton didn't have the manners to reply to my post, I can safely say that this game is excellent. Another top Sony exclusive, some fantastic nods to other Sony games in there too.
If you like platform games, get it played.

Picked up WH40K: Squad Command for my PSP for £3. Had it with my last PSP. It's great.
