Got the fire plasma, love throwing dead corpses to enemies when I finish off weaked enemies with drillhand / a gun

I'm playing Bioshock 2 at the moment, as well (on 360). It's obviously very similar to the original and retreads many of the same locations (I think?) albeit in a greater state of disrepair. I absolutely love the setting though and, as you say, the gunplay feels better. Really enjoying it.

Assassins Creed 2 finally clicked, after 3 attempts in 4 years. There's just LOADS of stuff to do, not sure I can be bothered. The free running is done better in inFamous, as well.

Did you ever play FFX?

Those strawberry floating birds, I gave up trying to get whatever it was you got from getting less than 0 seconds, I was so strawberry floating done.

Saying anything other than the Butterfly Hunt from X.

I hated all the stupid minigames in FFX, stuff like the butterfly hunt was so obtuse that I only knew it existed from looking at a guide.

How about the bit where you had to dodge 200 consecutive lightning strikes in the Thunder Plains? I managed it as a kid but my reflexes (and patience for that matter) aren't as sharp as they once were so no idea if I'll still be able to pull it off.

Mario Tennis on the 3DS virtual console. Surprisingly deep. Kinda stuck at Emily in the Island Open. She is kicking my ass! Pretty good game, shame some of the content is locked.

I'm so powerful in Vampire Bloodlines now that I can complete whole missions without ever getting attacked. All I do is stealth around and cast a magic spell that drains a target of their blood against anyone that gets close. That then fills my blood back up and I'm free to cast the spell on whoever I like. I kind of feel sorry for my enemies but it's so satisfying, especially after buying a gooseberry fool load of ammo thinking I was going to need it.

Attack of the Friday Monsters. Don't really know what I think of the game so far. Seems pretty nice and relaxing though. I'm wondering how the cards come into it, as I have a few of those now.

I just reached (what I think is) the last Chapter of Bravely Default. Is anyone else still playing this? The thread for the game seems to have completely died down...

Saints Row 3, Viva Pinata and Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc on go at the moment.

Saints Row 3 mainly for achievements really but I think I much prefer it over Saints Row 4, the thing I didn't like about SR4 is how it was always in night time (well until you've beaten the game and you have option to change the simulation) and it made driving completely pointless if you can run fast everywhere.

That being said, I still love both.

Viva Pinata mainly to try get to level 50 so all stuff will be opened up (though I think most of it has been opened up already), and Danganronpa is really good so far. Bit lacking in gameplay compared to Phoenix Wright but still great.

Bioshock Infinite - I enjoyed the first 2 but not keen on this so far (admittedly not that far into it). It feels like a Bioshock game, but maybe the setting is just wrong? I do like the way the game feels (like the first 2), a perfect world with something sinister just out of sight.

Yes?

Still Black Flag after titanfall bouts.

AC:BF is stunning, I'm loving it more than I thought. It looks gorgeous (X1) and has a mind boggling amount of stuff to do. I could spend hours in one city alone doing stuff. The sailing is incredible, dat ocean, the reflection off the water is best I've seen so far!

I finally fired up GTAV on the 360 last night. Only played about 20 mins. Aside form the horrendous texture pop-in and that the vehicles are a little 'floaty' I'm enjoying it so far.

I too recently started it for first time but on ps3. First impressions are that the game engine is barely holding together, texture pop in, ugly jaggies and occasional slowdown.

But it's got that GTA fun thing going that 4 sadly missed. The multiple character thing works and they each add something different. Missions are quite good fun too.

Not played much but already it's a million miles better than the PO-Faced brown tank simulator that was 4!

Install disc one to the HDD and disc 2 to a USB, you won't see a single bit of pop-in.

I thought GTA V looked fantastic on PS3. Before it was released I was convinced it was going to be rough, but I thought it looked really polished and solid, especially in comparison to IV.

You say that, you know it'll be even better on PC/720/PS4.

But yes, it looks great on 360. Still I'll doubledip if it means better loading times and better-looking world on PC :datass:

Edit: Why did I call Xbox One "720"? :fp:
