Keep getting my ass handed to me by Smough and Ornstein. Summoned Solaire and we had the second form down to 1/2 health, but I couldn't finish the fight without Mr Grossly Incandescent. Electric Smough ruined my gooseberry fool :dread:

Finally plugged in Rayman Legends, after buying it on release - just couldn't get motivated to play an old-school 2D platformer. Hellfire, what a game. Only put a couple of hours into it so far, but this is incredible top-tier stuff. My only very slight complaint is that I keep unlocking stuff and, as such, the structure was a little confusing initially, but I think my little brain was just struggling with all the stuff it was throwing at me.

...and I just popped home in my lunch break to have a quick blast and played the Castle Rock level. Oh, my word. This is different class.

Just started Dead Nation on the PS4 yesterday. Previously completed it on the PS3 but as it is free for PSN+ subscribers, thought I'd give it a try. I've not really noticed a lot of differences between the two versions, other than some of the loot has little pop up messages. Hopefully I'm going to find some further differences (such as perhaps an extra episode or 2) as so far, seems almost identical!

Yes?

Started Portal yesterday. I tried it a while back and just couldn't get on with it. Seem to be doing much better now which is good.

Get on with it, and then play Portal 2. It's brilliant stuff.

The co-op is pretty good too, even with people who don't usually play videogames-my girlfriend really enjoyed it.

Did Smough and Ornstein solo. That was tense. Flame sword helped a lot, as well as upgraded estus flasks.

Got the warp ability from queen boobs. Awesome.

Wind Waker HD still. Just finished Hyrule, found that Tetra is Zelda, and been sent on my way to find the tri-force shards. Started going around and collecting stuff before I do that, so followed Tingle's maps and got one wallet upgrade, get down to the second and I can't move the stone head dude, got sent to fire mountain thing, was told to go somewhere else to find something to freeze the mountain, found two islands and was told to float up to where I need to be, but there was no way of floating so I got annoyed and turned it off.

Playing PaRappa the Rapper, and I don't remember it being this hard

I'm only on the third stage and not even getting close to passing it. Got to the final section of the song a few times but always on bad/awful ratings.

:(

Does anybody know what a "next ya jockey" is or how one moves down to it? I've been wondering for years!

You found the room where there is an ember to give to one of the blacksmiths yet? I felt pretty impressed with myself when I managed to clear that place out!

No, I haven't found that yet. Got as far as the lady and her two hollow guards. That gimp kicked me down there. Pretty annoyed at it, so I warped out of there. I'm in the Painted World now. Only just found out I can't leave there freely.

I should probably not play this after work.

Think I'm almost done with Wind Waker HD. Got 43 out of 44 heart pieces, every sea chart chest uncovered, almost every figurine (just need two which is at last dungeon) obtained, all giant octos destroyed, got every decorative item, got all inventory items (all 4 bottles and magic armour). All's left is getting enough Joy Pedants to hand to teacher for some creepy mask, find enough Blue ChuChu jellies for blue potion to be buyable, getting 60points for last Beetle ticket and the trees side-quest before going for last Triforce piece.

Enjoyed it so much  But at same time I'm glad I'm almost done with first playthrough, means I can play other games  Super Metroid probably.

Just bought Defcon. Haven't played this game since ... my God, 2002.

It's not aged a day.

The whimpering and crying from the civilians as bombs reign down across the map. An inspired touch.

I could never play Defcon in the dark...it's a terrifyingly atmospheric game considering it's just luminescent geometrics on a world map.

You should play Um Jammer Lammy, that game is solid.
