Batman: Arkham City. Considering the whole comic book thing went cold for me a few years back I'm absolutely loving this.

Also jumping in and out of Far Cry 3 just to finish the damn thing, even though the game proper ended with the death of Vaas as far as I'm concerned.

GT6. Shitty 1.07 update aside I'm still enjoying this.

Tomb Raider: Underworld. A nice looking game and still more appealing than the reboot, but man the hectic camera and limp-dick controls can grate somewhat.

Jedi Knight: Jedi Knight Academy. Just wanted to swing a light saber about without the neigbours calling the police.

Just played the first few levels of Return to Castle Wolfenstein. God, it's bringing back some good memories and it holds up much better than I thought it would. The shooting feels so fast paced, chunky and satisfying.

EA :fp:

So I'm playing Fight Night Champion and I unlock and achievement for throwing 10,000 jabs. Great. Now the game is completely strawberry floated and freezes for a second every single time I throw a jab or straight. Not only is this incredibly jarring and infuriating, it also causes the game to ignore any button inputs until the freeze ends, meaning that I can't throw any combos that include jabs or straights.

I'm searching around for a fix but it seems that the only proper fix is to delete your Xbox profile completely and retrieve it to start again. Like strawberry float am I doing that! I just have no words. EA are an absolute strawberry floating joke. The game is unplayable now.

Just 100%ed Starfox 64 3D's N64 mode  Expert Mode next, might take a break though and play a different game.

Going through Fallout NV at the moment. It's on my Steam pile of shame. I'm enjoying it. I got all the packs and am doing the DLC. Think I'm moderately overpowered now, but I like it that way.

Currently checking out some of the alternate endings in Heavy Rain. Wasn't sure it would be worth it, but some of the failure endings are so much better. Depressing, but strangely more satisfying. Tears In The Rain might be my favourite. Still a few left to go.

I finished The Last of Us the other night and I'm currently going back through it on an Easy mode collectible/get all upgrades run.

Okami HD - Another nice looking game but am not that far in yet. (freed the village)

Persona 4 GOLDEN - Over 130 hours later and I am in NG+ and still loving it.

Hooray for Bronze Mirrors! Really enjoying it now. Love the marriage of hack n' slash, ancient Japanese mythology and beautiful art.

Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army (PC)

This is quite entertaining - popping zombies is enjoyable, and they've made clever use of obviously limited budgets through using levels from V2, but the moody and foggy lighting and 80s horror film soundtrack really add to it. Plus it has a sort of L4D vibe with the periodic saferooms full of guns and ammo, and those skeletons that gangsta-lean down the street towards you are both funny and 2spooky.

(Spoilered for size and spookiness)

Finished Muramasa today on my Vita as the boy. By the end I didn't really know what was going on nor cared so I just skipped all the dialogue. Decent game but the combat was a bit too basic and the backtracking was terrible.

Been playing Lylat Wars daily since I got it again a few days ago. I'm trying to get a high a score as possible on this path:
Corneria > Sector Y > Aquas > Zoness > Macbeth > Area 6 > Venom (apparently this path gives you the highest possible score)
I'm getting pretty good at the score attack thing. Just got a new high score of 1382, previous attempt was 1276. I'm getting closer to some of the medals. I can already medal Macbeth, Area 6 and Venom every time, Sector Y I was one point off a medal and Zoness two points off a medal. Corneria I'll get there sooner of later.

I spent ages trying to get 2,000 points in Lylat Wars with this path:

Corneria > Metos > Katina -> Sector X -> Macbeth -> Area 6 -> Venom

Managed it once. Felt proud of it; not sure why I picked that path - I think it was N64 (NGamer back in day) challenge mode thing, and that was path given out. Shame Katina doesn't go to Zoness for extra pointage, since Metos usually got me 300+. This was while ago though (I think I was 14/15 when I managed that score, maybe even younger than that) - I'm hella rusty and can only get 1600-1800 at best on SF64 3D.

Anyway that's me finished with Starfox 64 3D, got last medal on Expert mode last night. I do have Score Attack medals to do but that can wait. Great game

Bronze mirrors allow you to skip to the last visited shrine. Not the best solution but better than nothing.

I'm currently playing as the girl and plan on completing it as the lad too. I've also read there are other playable characters but I haven't seen those yet. Probably DLC.

That path used to be the score run path but then people found out the trick that would let you get over 400 hits on Aquas.

Just started DmC. Don't like what I've seen so far. Not far into it, but the graphics seem worse than DMC4.

Transformers: War for Cybertron (PC)

Good fun, this. Gameplay-wise it's a linear and scripted shooter, but an enjoyable one nonetheless. The environments are detailed but fairly uninteresting which is to be expected in a way with Transformers. I wasn't so keen on the 30fps limit, but after finding someone had made an unlocker for it, things got a lot better. The voice acting is excellent, with some genuinely funny bants between the characters.

Thief (that new one) - 5/10
This game is so strawberry floating boring and the story is just a massive pile of wank. Not really accessible for people who are new to the series such as myself. And the control scheme :dread: Graphically it doesn't even look next gen.

Nobi nobi boy. The only game where sword eaters riding cows ride you while you eat giant rolling pears with dice for wheels while all being incredibly phallic. 10/10

"It should be common sense to just accept the message Nintendo are sending out through their actions."
