Me, too.Picked it up for £28 in CEX. I haven't played much, either, so far, but I'm not blown away by the graphics, tbh.

Finish Tomb Raider first - it's not really long at all.

I spent all night yesterday until 8am playing Star Fox Command  Got 6 of 9 endings and working towards 7th ending, enjoying it loads now. I still rage when none of my pilots can reach missile in time :x Why can't Great Fox shoot them down with spare missile I'll never know.

Just spent a couple of hours with Tomb Raider as Seven suggested. It felt like I was near the end of the game with all the havoc that was going on, but then it come up with the start of a new chapter so maybe not. I've just saved my friends from the bad dudes, then everything just started setting on fire and exploding and I ended up getting on a chopper which crashed in a storm because Lara was being a bitch and the new chapter just started called "Some Time Alone" as all my friends are gone and i'm all... alone.

No idea what's going on though, unlike Batman i'm not interested in the story at all and have no idea why things are happening. That temple that just blew up for example, i've no idea why or how it even happened. Don't care about my buddies either so was hoping we'd just fly off and leave them, but instead I have to watch a supposed 'sad' scene about some old guy dying as we go back for 'em.

Yeah it's not long till the end. Maybe about 3-5hrs give or take, if you're not doing 100% thing. Personally I liked the story but I loved the gameplay more.

Not bothering with 100% naah. It might just be where I didn't play it for a few months then going back to it today, but i've got no idea what's going on. Will plug away at it though between World Cup games to try get it finished.

Super Mario Galaxy

Blitzing through this now. It's grown on me, but dear god the controls and camera are wank at times. Why does the game seem so intent on refusing to allow me to see where I'm going, especially underwater. And the waggle, so tiresome.

Witcher 2

Really enjoying it more, on Chapter 2 at the moment. I've never felt like I made a wrong choice - each choice are really good in sense that my mortality matters, rather than "lol this is good one" "lol so evil wow pick me" aspect. I'm still struggling to learn the magic though - I could never remember what they are apart from fire one which I use every now and then between combo attacks...and I just pretty much spam attacks... but the story is really, really good.

I'm tempted to go back to Witcher 1 so I can have my "character" carried over with decisions made in 1st if it makes any difference in 2nd for new game on Normal/Hard.

Might play some more Starfox Command soon to try get 7th ending tonight.

Still on my continuing trek through Drangleic. Killed Iron king and Shelob. Met the queen, died at the dragonriders due to a stupid thing I did. Kinda ready for this game to end, to be honest. May have overdone it, with the amount of playtime it's had recently.

Not really enjoying Infamous: Second Son (PS4) at all, tbh.

Looks nice in places but nothing like the OMG!GRAFFIKS! most of the gaming media seems to have reported. Again: Killzone Shadow Fall is still the PS4's most graphically impressive game to date for me (and that game really is 'awesome' in almost every setting, every level).

My main problem, though, comes in the form of I:SS's lead protagonist - 'Delsin'. This is possibly one of the most unlikeable, ugly, uninteresting, woefully badly designed (and over-designed) lead characters I've ever had the displeasure to have to endure. Frankly, I'd rather be on the side of the enemy AI at this point - I might at least get one clear shot off at this moron.

The story (I use the word loosely) is so instantly forgettable I still have no idea what any of its about (nor do I care).

Good job I paid just £28 quids for this turd of game. I had a bad feeling about it all along. Should have listened to my better half. :fp:

In much better news: I just pre-ordered Sniper Elite III (PS4). Yay. Good times ahead.

Just played the opening couple of hours of Ni No Kuni.

The art style in the opening town was weird, but I liked it. It was like a weird blend of 50s America, 19th century Paris and rural Japan, but it worked. Now I just appear to be beating the gooseberry fool out of Pokemon with a stick, which is oddly satisfying.

I strawberry floating loved that game - Ghibli feels all over the place. I can't bring myself to uninstall it from my PS3.

Played inFamous 2nd Son for about 2 hours yesterday and getting into this now. When I started it certainly felt a bit different to the other two but now I've got to the city, the old feel of inFamous is back (helped I suspect by aquiring more powers). The biggest differences for me is that the movement feels much more fluid and that they've made all the collectibles easier to find (which TBH, is a welcome change).

Yes?

Breakdown's great for playing for an hour or so at a time, I love how you actually have the mad panic for survival at the beginning; the core game is almost too safe at the start.

I also downloaded Skyrim to play last evening to play but by the time I'd installed the high res textures, unofficial patches and basic necessary mods it was 3am :fp:

Restarted Skyward Sword after my previous save was lost. Didn't realise how far I'd got into it.
Also playing Super Mario Bros 2 on the 3DS, Mario Kart 8 and Super Metroid whenever I switch the SNES on - although I'm pretty lost in that now

Xcom Enemy within. Bloody hell this is tough. I've beaten the standard game on ironman on PS3 but this is really kicking me. Just when things were going ok I lose a council mission as Civvie I was escorting gets sniped. I lose UK funding and the world is starting to panic. I have no weapons bar 1 laser rifle and not enough alloy to make more, spent loads on satellites to reduce panic managed to get things back on track.

THEN.... strawberry floating rebel humans show up and gooseberry fool on my plans. My undercover op goes badly wrong and I fail to secure the transmission data. Now they take a chunk of my funding.

Had another council mission with Zombies and Chrysallids, lose my best soldier on second round. Triggered an airstrike then ran like hell to the Evac point. Each round the enemy numbers got bigger and closer to over running me. Had to sacrifice a heavy to stay and fight buying time for rest to get to safety.

So I lost 2 Majors in one mission and my next best soldier is injured. Dark day in Xcom mission but barely have time to mourn before a UFO attacks, barely manage to down it (interceptor critically damaged)

Next mission and the sectoids have strawberry floating Armour suits that would make Tony Stark weep....

I feel its spiralling out of control.

XCOM was way too stressful for me. I never did finish it.

Newfoundland neva 4 get

Worst part about playing a game of XCOM with all the content is the strawberry floating slingshot DLC, everything else can be delayed or avoided once you know how to; except Slingshot which rushes you into two costly back2back missions.

In Skyrim news I'm the furthest I've ever got into the main plot, which is 3 missions in! Also it's not as bad as in Oblivion but they could have at least tried to make Vampirism good enough to bother with in the vanilla game, all the powers/bonuses force you to play some weird stealth mage combo which suits almost no character I've ever played.

At least the wanky transformation stuff in the expansion adds something but then they go and give the non-vampire faction the nicer looking gear
