That was when I figured out how broken the detection system was. No matter which direction I turned someone would get suspicious, so the answer? Constantly spin in a circle so they can't see your face for long enough. :fp:

That video Mori posted is a good example of what I'm talking about. I'm sure it was brer who posted it but in the Absolution thread (strawberry float the search system not going back further than a year) there's a gif of 47 on the balcony of the train station being suspected from two different angles, and when the camera finally pans around it's a bunch of cops all waiting to see his face before shooting. :fp:

Or this video, this video is good:

Oh man, Anor Londo in wrecking my world in Darksouls :fp:

Pro Evo Soccer 2014 on PS3. Yes, still.

For the first time ever I've got a result against a guy with a skill level in the 900s. My current skill level is around 630 (decent but definitely nothing spectacular) and I led Urawa Red Diamonds to a 2-2 draw against a chap with a skill level of 905 and using Roma. Tucked away an 86th minute equaliser and held on for the draw. It was a cracking game :-).

Just spent most of this evening my usual 'just giving Killzone Shadow Fall MP another chance'...of course, it all ends with me rage quitting. Thing is, though, I don't understand why the co-op game is so friggin' hard. It just seems unusually punishing (although admittedly there were only two of us trying to fight off what seemed impossible odds), but frankly several times I was being respawned back into an absolute firefight and being taken back out immediately; not even time to find my bearings. And that's all down to the 'get a perfect hit from halfway across the map' AI.

Madness. Utter madness. Could have been a fun game mode. Instead, just endless frustration, ineptitude on my part and total panic.

Also, I'm never going to be any good at online anything. You'd think I'd have gotten the message by now. :( ...and relax. It's over now.

Still playing Playstation All-Stars Battle Royalie, just doing Arcade Mode with every character (I'm on 14th out of 20th minus DLC characters - I'd like Kat from Gravity Rush but I'm not sure if I'll play it for long time...)

Was fun playing as various characters, shame about the loading though.

Zelda II

Actually think I'm enjoying this more than Legend of Zelda. Having to restart at the middle of the map when you die is a massive pain in the arse, but that aside, I like the upgrading, the different spells, and the side-on perspective. Just want to get the hammer now so I don't have to keep re-tracing my steps all the time.

Uncharted 2. It'll be good when they finish it.

Bit harsh and provocative, but it does have quite a few things blatantly wrong with it, that I'm amazed it was released in this state - controls issues, mainly (though I made the same criticism about God of War 3, so maybe it's my hands that are borked?).

Uncharted 2 is the best game out of the series.

So I'll get your hands checked out by a GP.

My GP has confirmed that Uncharted 2 features way too much potential for insta-death due to clumsy controls, and has therefore written me a note allowing a 2-point deduction from my final score in the Recently-Completed thread. I'm getting the distinct feeling, having recently finished Uncharted 1, that this series of games is at their most enjoyable on the second play-through, when you're not having to guess what the fuckinghell is expected of you.

Finally downed that damn overseer UFO in Xcom and beat the crashsite level. Getting places at last. I hate some of the random gooseberry fool that happens in this game, though.

Standing 5 feet away from giant hulk of a monster > aiming a sniper rifle > 90% to hit > misses.

Bullshit.

Rise of the Argonauts - PC

Got this thanks to the Codemasters bundle - it's an interesting one for sure. God of War-lite combat with lots of talking to people in between with decisions that reflect the various gods of the greek pantheon. Looks alright for a 2009 game, might have to bump up the antialiasing in the GPU a bit as it looks slightly jaggy and there are no real graphics options. Fairly decent voice acting but the npc character models repeat a lot and have that dead stare look going on.

My overall thought about that game was more smacking less yakking. A decent game but far too much talking.

I recently put my UK account back onto my PSP Go as I wanted to play Everybody's Tennis. This game is one of the best bargains I've ever found. It was a few quid in a PSN sale and you get a lot of bang for your buck.

Started Tales of Xillia yesterday.

3 hours in and it's already much better than Graces F. I sort of gave up on Graces F (will go back to it though), as I was fed up of my mate keeping telling me to start it and I'm glad he bugged me to do so because it's very very accessible than Graces F. The combat is brilliant, I like the story so far, and best thing about it? QUICK SAVES. Means I don't need to force myself to get to save point before turning it off. I can just save at that spot, quit the game and come back and use quick load. Its best thing and every JRPG should have this.
