why did I start path of exile at like 2am :fp:

Just called it night there. So addictive, Lv12 Ranger at the moment and I'm loving it. Also playing Spiral Knights because why not, seems it's more manageable this time - doesn't require energy to go through the game normally, thank god.

Halo MCC. Nostalgia at its best

From the MP games with the guys on here to replaying any mission I like in whatever order I like. If they strawberry floating hurry up and sort the mess out that is matchmaking it'll be like the perfect package.

Chief

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

After a little time away from Alien Isolation I got back into it today and completed chapters 8, 9 and 10. Playing this with a headset on is pretty nerve racking stuff. I'm too much of a pussy to go all the way and play with the mic active too however :dread:

GTA: San Andreas

I’m putting a lot of time into this. Enjoying it for the most part – lots to do, decent characters, missions are enjoyable on the whole.

When it’s shitty though, it’s really shitty – some terrible missions, long tedious drives across the map required, dodgy aiming/targeting, the strawberry floating mobile phone ringing all the time, dumb AI, and the useless mission checkpoint system.

Definitely intend on seeing it through to the end (story wise, at least) but there are so many things that could have been improved, and stop it being really enjoyable.

Halo MCC:
Almost too much stuff to do in terms of campaign, At the rate im playing it now I'll not have them all finished in time for Halo5. Matchmaking still borked, hope update on wednesday fixes this.

AC Unity:
Like brer said, its not that bad all things considered, I'm enyoying it hugely despite the glitches, the Nostradamus puzzles and murder solving are great little additions, it looks amazing also.

Sunset Overdrive
Due to Halo and ACreed I hadnt played this for over week and I was kicking myself lastnight as to why not. Still at this moment my GOTY, its so much fun just getting around, in fact the most fun I'd had traversing an open world in any game ever. I'm currently doing all the side missions and this is how you do side missions right, they are all fresh and inventive sometimes having multiple unfolding events, throw in the humour and its stunning stuff.

Zelda: Majora's Mask

So nice to finally get round to this, especially as it's such a delight to play ...well, mostly, truth be told it's actually surprisingly frustrating and stressful at times, it does earn its reputation as one of the least accessible Zeldas well. Of course though, that only makes it all the more rewarding when you actually do make progress!

I've just capped off the second dungeon and am sorting out a many of the bomber's notebook quests. Still haven't quite figured out the Anju and Kafei one, which I'm itching to due to its infamy...

What is it with me and near game breaking glitches this generation?

First I had my save corrupt in Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition 3/4 of the way through and now after a near perfect run through mission 15 of Alien Isolation, only having to drive the Alien off once mission 16 simply didn't happen I just got dumped back at a transport hub with no mission objectives.

I Googled it and to fix the problem I had to play mission 15 from scratch only this time the Alien wouldn't leave me alone and cost me a tonne of fuel keeping it at bay. Well at least I'm at mission 16 now I guess.

All I've been playing on PC is Path of Exile, it really is good stuff if you like games like Diablo 2 - and the fact it's free makes it amazing, considering I've put in 20+ hrs on it so far and that's on one character which I've just got to Act 3 (on Normal) at Lv30.

Excellent game. Might have to give it a break once I've beaten Act III with Ranger though as I want to play other games, but yeah for free game it's brilliant.

Shovel Knight- Wii U

Glorious, absolutely glorious. Im on the last level, or at least the last one I can see on the map so they may yet reveal more for me to get through, and I have loved every second of it. They nailed the look and feel of an 8-bit game with a perfectly pitched difficulty level, always challenged but never helpless or overwhelmed. Cant wait to get this work nonsense over with so I can get back to playing it.

After finishing Alien Isolation I was about to give the other game I have from Boomerang, Wolfenstein The New Order a blast but the 5 and a bit gig update says otherwise.

Finished Shovel Knight, loved it, and now Im on to Stealth Inc 2. I loved the first one and this seems to be a big helping of more of the same with a couple of extras thrown in, got through the first 2 "zones" last night and its already getting tricky, could be a tough nut to crack by the end. The Miiverse integration is also very nice, so far its a lot of people saying how much they like the game but later on it could become very useful for helping solve puzzles or just sending people off on a wild goose chase, either way its a good time.

Super Mario 64

I started this last night and I've already got over 30 starts and I've beaten Bowser for the first time. The worlds in this game are incredible

When I was playing 3D World, I did miss the experience of exploring different worlds and working out how to obtain stars by completing different objectives. That being said, repeating the same world does get slightly repetitive but it's easily mitigated by going to different worlds to collect other stars.

I've just got six stars from the Hazy Maze Cave. I'll save the 100 coin star for a bit later on as I'm keen to mix things up by going to Lethal Lava Land.

I'm about to start playing Dragon Age: Origins for the first time. Is it better to play with keyboard & mouse or a 360 controller?

Super Mario 64

I've now got all three caps and over 50 stars. It was weird seeing the game tell me that Bowser is waiting for me on the third floor when I haven't yet gone past the second star door

Getting 100 coins on Lethal Lava Land was very tricky but I finally managed to get that star and the other six. The two volcano stars weren't made any easier thanks to the camera being awkward at times.

I don't think that I've ever picked up a star on Shifting Sand Land so it feels like a whole new world to me. I couldn't work out how to get the first star but I ended up in the pyramid and got that star. The camera added to the difficulty but overall it was an enjoyable run.
