Mostly playing The Secret World with the gf - the modern setting and conspiracy/supernatural angle makes it the best MMO i've played in years. The investigation missions really make you think and are way more than "find the thing and click on it", which takes a bit of getting used to. So far we've had to look up bits of the bible, sheet music, translate latin/'magic' languages etc. Every quest is repeatable, and they all have voiced cutscenes, but your character just stands there in silence like a lemon, which is a bit silly. Plus it's genuinely creepy in places, which for an MMO is quite an achievement. Love this game

The walking dead. Only at the beginning really but my god already this is all I could have expected of it and more, a return to form for the genre, very happy.

Escape Plan. Very impressed with this little puzzler and love it's alternative style.

Guacamelee. Great fun; brazen, colourful, good depth requiring skill and day of the dead theme, what's not to love?

Still got Lego Batman 2 ongoing with my partner.

Just played through Epi 2 of The Walking Dead. Really enjoyed it. I will probably play Epi 3 in a few weeks.

TWD is incredible, so so good and such a surprise. Play it with a break on between the episodes. It was torture at times waiting for the next episode, but the anticipation made it better.

I preferred playing the episodes one after another. You perhaps miss out on the 'passage of time' thing, I guess.

So the new Xbox is all set up and I've been playing Saints 4. To be honest I wasn't that taken with it when I bought it for the PS3 at the games launch, but I reckon it must have caught me in a bad mood because it's gone 2am and I'm this time around I'm still playing it from 9ish the previous evening. strawberry floating awesome game. Yep, something definitely clicked this time around.

I also bought the Witcher 2 on 360. Yet to try it, (current PC simply can't run the Witcher games), but I've always wanted to try it out and if it floats my boat then the Witcher 3 will be on my to buy list for the new PC. So not currently playing, but in the pipeline.

I've been playing Lord of the Rings: The Third Age on PC via the latest version of Dolphin (Gamecube/Wii Emu).

The game has never been 100% on Dolphin, but this latest update for Dolphin has stabilized things a bit more and it does play better than ever now, even at very high resolution with all the fancy graphics FX flipped up to max. By fiddling about with Nvidia control panel I can get the game running in true 4:3 ratio with no distortion. Still very shonky when it comes to gamepad support, though - much better to play with the keyboard (which works well in a turn-based game like this). I've got the original game disk for use on the 360 but sadly there is a graphics bug affecting loot boxes when playing this Xbox original game on 360, so I actually prefer the Dolphin version for its much-improved graphics, despite occasional slow-down and sound-sync problems.

Yep, an old game I still enjoy very much. One of my favourites from the original Xbox era, in fact.

Remember Me.

Loose movement and scrambling across an uninteresting setting... I'd rather remember the games the devs did a poor job of aping.

I'll give it one more go tomorrow but I doubt I'll finish this.

CBA with Remember Me.

Gone back to playing Zen Pinball. It's actually Zen Pinball 2 but I'm only playing the one table on it which is my old favourite Eldorado.

I'd totally forgotten how to play it and was only getting scores of around 10-15m. I broke that with a 20m score but it was still too much like hard work, but have since got the hang of it again and have a new high score of 55m which is a *huge* score for me.

I had the same problem. Picked it up for cheap and loved the setting but just couldn't bring myself to finish it.

Let me join the club. Just started playing thanks to PS+ but the game feels generic and bland and just isn't grabbing me.

But then thanks to PS+ I'm barely giving anything a chance. If it doesn't grab me immediately it gets dropped in favour of something else on my growing backlist of games.

Limbo

After a bit of faffing and tinkering I've mahaged to make it playable with just the mouse. Liking it so far, just got past the Spider bit and am currently attempting to do the cocooned escape which is proving troublesome.

Played the Stanley Parable demo earlier today. Certainly different. Really interested in picking up the full game now. I love this sort of thing in fiction so for it to be utilised in a game is nice to see.

Started Batman AO late afternoon and it's quite good so far.

Also playing Gone Home, Skyrim (gone back to finish DLC), The walking dead, Madam you are being hunted,

I quite enjoyed Remember Me, my only real issue with it was that there's very little interaction with Neo Paris.

I'm not a big fan of Eldorado, it seems very big and empty and I just don't get it. I much prefer Paranormal, the underwater one - I forget the name - and the Blade tables.

Absolutely LOVING Guacamelle, it's pretty much Super Metroid where the universe is loaded with fun platforming sections and memes. Main difference is there are no guns, you have to beat the gooseberry fool out of everything. Hugely satisfying to play and looks lovely on the Vita, loving all the little in-jokes. I AM ERROR was brilliant.

£5 for one of the best games I've played in a long time, check it out.

Any one got the DLC, is it worth investing in once the main quest is done?

You're right, it is going to be free! No excuses now, everyone must own it. No regrets getting at £5 something, would have preferred it for free of course!
