I'd love to see Skyrim with more character development, as right now it's brilliant world filled with... boring empty characters. I really hope they just hire another developer to deal with characters/story/interactive with world instead of just themselves. Fallout NV makes Fallout 3's character development look like a joke.

I never finished Skyrim due in large part to the boring story and terrible NPC interactions. I mean, F3 didn't have the best plotlines or characters but with Skyrim it's like they didn't even try. Amazing world, awful atmosphere.

Agreed. It's just waaaay bad in Skyrim. I did enjoy it enough (loved the exploration/looting) but I didn't really want to play it again without any mods of sort because the character development/plotline is just rubbish. Only beat the main story once and I didn't want to go through that again.

Still playing Dishonored, at least when I'm up for it. Been abusing quick save/load so I can try not kill every one in sight as well exploring the areas. Not sure what to do with twins, kill them or get Swiftjaw or something to take care of them.

Played up to disc 2 in LA Noire. This game is filled with characters who have no redeeming features. Cole is an absolute tool. Interesting game, for the large part you end up doing the same thing over and over again, but despite the repetitiveness, it's keeping my attention well enough. Not too sure where the subplot with the doctor to the stars is going.

Decided to continue with the Walking Dead. Originally my son was playing it and I was watching, but I've taken over from Episode 2 and played up to Episode 4 yesterday. Whilst the story is good and is relaxing to "play" (compared to more action orientated games) I'm not sure I'd class it as a game, more of an interactive program/film.

Yes?

Played bit more of Dishonored today.

After spending quite while on it I'm already thinking of what to do for next play through, and I'm considering getting all of DLC as well for it. It honestly is becoming one of my favourites; it's first one where I actually didn't want to just go "strawberry float it" and kill everyone in sight, I had fun trying to figure out how to go through the missions with least kills.

I'm not going to stress myself - if I seem can't sneak around and sleepchokehold, I could kill if I really need to, likewise for unable to find paintings - if I can't find it, oh well I'll move on.

Just got to bit after the bridge where you have to kidnap the guy to get name for a next target.

Still one of the best RPGs ever made. Apart from the janky combat and dodgy end section it's almost exactly the sort of game Bethesda should be looking at and thinking "You know what, let's scale down the size of our games and aim for something like this." It's actually possible to play a role in this role playing game, one that isn't dictated by a red or blue meter telling you how evil or good you are, or one that solely involves taking orders from dead eyed mannequin NPCs.

The characters here, from regular companions to one-off conversations, are actually characters. They ooze personality, they have likes and dislikes and, unlike any other game I've played since, they act. Say something an NPC doesn't like and their lips will curl into a grimace and they'll shoo you away. Flirt and a mischievous smirk will play on their lips. Say something funny and they'll throw their head back in laughter. It's a million miles away from the soulless quest giving machines of Skyrim.

Such a shame. :(

Agreed. Such a brilliant game.

For me Skyrim could have been excused from the weak characters if the combat, dungeons and questing were good enough to make it fun to play, unfortunately they really weren't. Oblivion on the other hand was flawed to gooseberry fool but it at least contained a bunch of really well designed and written quests which kept me going.

I can't think of a single quest in Skyrim that stood out for me.

Her chest brings to me mind the BBC breakfast weather lady.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag (PS4) - I haven't enjoyed clambering over buildings this much since AC II/Brotherhood. I also like the fight fact taking out a guard or even a group of 'em doesn't alert every other guard in the vicinity.

Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD (PS Vita) - FU Packrat Palooka. F. U.

I actually modded her to have petite tits, cause the enormous tit mods are pretty ridiculous and i was trying to keep her at least somewhat realistic and fitting in with the lore/world, its just that outfit that has a big chest mesh on it, not the boobs themselves.....the more you know

You clearly need this mod:

Played some of that Renegade Ops, aka 80's Action Movie: The Game. Gave up years ago after getting stuck on the 1st level, but made it to level 3 this time. It's good but hard.
Still can't kill the 2nd boss in Rez :fp:
Played a bit of the Black Ops 2 campaign  laughably gooseberry fool.

The longest journey is a pretty good adventure game, very easy to relate to the characters.

Started Assassin Creed III yesterday.

Slow start so far. Not be able to do most of stuff at start bugs me a little, so I guess I'll progress a bit to open the game up a bit. Did enjoy going underground and trying to find doors to open up more shortcuts for quick travel, though.

The controls are bit confusing! I ended up jumping all over place instead of fighting guards with effective, although the freerunning/parkour is still good fun.

Wonder when it hits the point where most people find it dull compared to (amazing) Ezio's trilogy, but I'll play for fun when it lasts and besides I didn't pay penny for it, so all's good.

Playing it at the no, and Batman's voice isn't as good as Conroy's.

LA Noire is starting to get a little dull. Finished the homicide desk (which was a complete anticlimax), on the first vice case. I'll continue, see if it does anything interesting. Can't see myself beating it, as it currently stands.

I'd say it's worth to at least finish it once, does have some moments which is quite good... but yeah it does get old fast.

Why do Rockstar release it instead of RDR on Steam I'll never know ;_;
