The Kinect Sports games really are excellent Christmas family games; a bit of bowling, darts or golf with loads of people (especially with those who never play anything) is always brilliant. Being able to have more than four players would be great, but it's mostly excellent at what it does. Stealth best 360 games.

We bought our girls Disney Infinity as part of their Christmas present so had a go this afternoon.

It's good although I'm slightly annoyed that it came with absolutely no instructions as things start off a little vague. Nevertheless, once we got to grips with it the little ones had a great time playing. So glad we picked up a couple of extra figures in the form of Disney Princesses.

Been sampling WRC4 this evening and I'm very impressed. Milestone are really getting it together now with the series and speaking as a rally fan this is the best proper rally title since CMR5.

The Wolf Among Us. Picked it up on the free Xbox offer.

Really enjoy the Fables universe and the vibrant colours make a nice change from The Walking Dead.

I feel like I made all the right choices, too. That is to say, I felt no regrets.

Shame it's so much more expensive on Steam.

The first episode of season 2 is out already. A friend said it's really good but I'm gonna wait for the whole season to be released before playing.

I played through the first with the whole season already available and can't decide whether to do that again or play them as they come out

Got Saints Row 4 for Xmas and I'm just under 4 hours in. It's absolutely strawberry floating amazing. The first mission alone must have had at least 10 different game references from MGS, to CoD, to Mass Effect and more. Just unlocked the spaceship and collecting those data clusters is even more addictive than Crackdown's orbs. Having the radio at all times is great too. Flying about the city to the 80's station is just brilliant.

Papers, Please.

Pretty addictive. Never pegged Ron Swanson as a commie. Mind blown.

Got Super Mario 3D World and TLOZ: A Link Between Worlds yesterday so been playing them a bit. Both are absolutely excellent so far. Mario makes me smile like a child and Zelda has some amazing Link To The Past throwbacks which just make it even sweeter than it already is.

Definitely better to play when they've all been released as you can properly get into it without the annoying breaks between episodes... IMO.

I'm replaying season 1 now with the intention of playing the new episodes as they come out. I like the suspense of having to wait after each cliff hanger.

So I got Virtue's Last Reward as a Christmas present. Worth playing through 999 first?

Jeanne D'arc on PSP. One of my favourite PSP games, I started it years ago but never got round to finishing it... I remember why now, after the game starting out like "My First SRPG" I hit a brick wall in Chapter 4 at Paris Ramparts. Your 2 main "Power Rangers" are out of commission forcing you to use a much weaker squad. I guess I'll have to spend some time levelling up my people. Good thing is I love battling in this game, there's always someone levelling up so it never really feels like a grind.

Bravely Default. The full game is much, much more accessible than what the demo was. I'm about five hours into it already, really enjoying it so far. The streetpass functionality is amazing in it.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (3DS)

I don't think i'm very far in to it at all, but as my first top down Zelda experience, i've got to admit i'm loving it. I've got two of the pendant things (the one from Zelda and the Zora one) and am on my way to get the third one now.

Bravely Default. I think I'm just a few steps behind you Squinty.

I'm enjoying it muchly. Mario World and Zelda LBW are taking a backseat at the moment.

Mark of the Ninja

Lovely art style but not really enjoying it, finding the controls to be a bit fiddly and unsatisfying.
