Ys Origin

After hitting wall of no progress as Hugo Fact (...Why does that remind me of someone on here) I've overcame the bosses and has progressed further. It's satisfying to make some progress in Ys games, especially as bosses are hard as hell (although there has been few that's pretty easy) and being on hardest difficulty (Nightmare) makes it fun challenge.

That being said, I do play it in small bursts so If I get too annoyed / fed up I'll just stop playing and play something else. Mainly either Sims 3 or System Shock 2, latter which I'm loving very much so once I got hang of it. Can see why it's one of best PC games.

Yeah she got KH HD edition, so ive advised her to just flog that gooseberry fool in Cex and get started on KH instead

We bought Epic Mickey 2 for the kids to play a while back. Absolute strawberry floating nightmare of a game. The Wife had to sit there and play it with them in the end and even then I was constantly called in to help with some ridiculously designed platform elements.

I'm really enjoying Origins, I'm guessing this is even better?

No Origins is the better game. Legends is easier to get 100% collectibles in, though.

Cheers, Buff. Might pick it up when it's under a tenner then.

You get it for £13ish in the PS3 store sale which ends on the 20th. Easily worth that.

I agree with Buff. Origins is the better of the two games, but both are pretty great.

It's the world structure in Legends that irked me. Very disjointed, not as focused.
gooseberry fool, Kung Foot though!

Batman Arkham Origins - got to near the end of the Deadshot fight only to get too close to the hostage and have to start the whole thing again - think i'll call it a night there and come back. Not doing 2 predator rooms and a boss fight again in such succession.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons

Got it in the PSN sale and it's very nice looking. I'm liking it a lot. Especially the whole no HUD thing, and they seem to have avoided sticking in pointless collectibles, too, which is nice.

Playing March of the Black Queen on Wii VC and it's kind of killing my gaming mood.

I'm really struggling to grasp the idea behind it. I've gone through about 7 levels, using 2 units, but now I clearly need more... but all my others that have been ignored are too low level. They get instantly smashed, so they can never win, and never level up. I can't seem to figure out how to grind as going back to beaten maps, the enemies are all gone. Might have to start again :(

Currently on a 3 game rotation of GTA5, Bioshock Infinite & Forza Horizon. Loving all 3. Also played a load of IOS games throughout the week.

I'm currently at the library on Metro 2033. :-(

Really good game, though. The checkpoint saves can be immensely annoying but, as people have said, the pacing is fantastic. There's a lot of variety too.

Played a bit of that SSX reboot earlier. What a load of old dick. An insult to it's predecessors.

The one released on 360 and PS3 a few years ago?

What's bad about it?

Everything. The soundtrack, the structure, the trick mapping, the colour palette, DJ Atomika needs knocking out, the gooseberry fool character roster, the attempt at a story.

Is that the one they did a call of duty on it during the reveal trailer?
