Currently playing Astrobot (i play this in small two-stage, 2 challenge chunks, partly to savor it, partly due to the anti social nature of VR). Lovely game that has continued to improve as its gone on. World 5-2 might be my favorite level in a platformer / adventure game ever.

Also playing through AA Spirit of Justice. I love all the Phoenix Wright games and this is no exception. This one feels the most fleshed out "game" of them all. Enjoyed the DLC mission too (i think it was the first bit of DLC i have ever purchased). Currently on the final case, which i feel i have been on for around 10 hours already. Its a monster, even compared to the final case of Trials and Tribulations.

Still dabbling with Smash Ultimate, but i think i am done with it now.

SoJ was a chuffing blinder. The second-best game in the series, in my ‘umble opinion. Even Apollo was okay in it!

(I’m playing Smash because of course I am.)

Which was your fave in the series out of interest? I'm guessing not Apollo Justice....

Trials and Tribulations was my favourite fwiw.

Is there any other choice for sensible people? AJ and JfA slog it out for my bottom spot.

Been re-playing Prime 3, which was the first proper Prime game I completed back in the day. Forgot how hammy some of the dialogue is. Otherwise it's pretty boring. Had some early display issues with my ntsc Wii and my CRT but when I fixed it I found the game still looks nice and crisp.

Years ago I was doing a playthrough of Prime Trilogy where I re-played Prime 1, completed Prime 2 for the first time, and then got bored of my re-playthrough of Prime 3 and forgot about the game. But I'm enjoying it now despite it being the weakest Prime (not that 1 and 2 are without their faults at all either) and it's a nice trip down memory lane. All the largely pointless motion stuff is an amusing throwback to that era, but of course aiming with the pointer is great.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy (PS4)

Much better than Uncharted 4. The story is much more interesting. Also the villain is much better than the spoilt brat in U4.

8/10

My rankings for Uncharted in order from the best to the least favourite. It's a solid series.

U2>LL>U4>U1>GA>U3.

In the continuing adventures of The Sims 4, the first friend I made in the game called round. As soon as they arrived, my first cat died. That friend mourned the death, and left. I somehow think she knew what was about to happen and decided to call round. Another of my cats also died some time later. At the minute, I'm turning the land into a livable water park, but as ever I'm doing it slowly owing to spending money as soon as I get it and only one sim having a job.

Trials and Tribulations is the series best for sure. Best prosecutor, best cases (the last case was pretty strawberry floating amazing).

I still have Spirit of Justice on my 3DS top play. I'm hoping to get around to that one soon.

The first game and Golden Abyss above Uncharted 3? I think you need to replay Uncharted 3.

I haven't played LL yet, my ranking is: 2 > 4 > 3 > GA = 1

3 has some of the best standalone set-pieces in the series, it's just the overall plot tying them together that lets it down.

I just finished U3 during the last week of 2018.

And I still stand by my rankings.

Yeah, Godot is super cool. Need to replay it again just for his theme music. I bought the trilogy on 3DS so it will be fun to play them slightly remastered.

Spirit of Justice is great, a really meaty experience with a lot of the frustrations of the earlier ones streamlined out. But that original trilogy

Too many games! I'm "currently playing" the following:

Dead Cells
Hollow Knight
Dark Souls Remastered
Celeste
Steamworld Dig
Stardew Valley
Blossom Tales

Despite really enjoying all of them I seem to keep flicking between them all and not being able to devote time to completing any single one of them! I need to put some of these on pause really and just focus on one or two.

Blossom Tales is really short (not even 5 hours) so you could get through that pretty quickly if you concentrate on it

Godot is super cool, but I strawberry floating love Edgeworth.

Wish they'd do those AA Investigations over here, I hear good things about them.

They are in iOS and Android. But I just can't bring myself to play them there. Maybe they will make it to Switch or 3ds this year.... maybe....

I’ve played the AAI2 fanslation. It is so much better than AAI1 and it makes me very sad that the sequel never made it to the West. :(

AAI1 is out over here though. It’s alright.

I think that's one of the frustrating parts - some of these are short, or I know I am already near the end of them, but I still seem to find it hard to focus on one and "put it to bed" so to speak!

I could not get into this game at all. It's probably my least favourite game in the franchise, along with Justice for All.

Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds

Passed my pervious play and am currently level 24. Pleased I re-bought it and a sharp reminder not to trade my games if I grow bored.

So we moved back to Virgin Broadband. They're gooseberry fool heads, (aren't they all?), but if I'm to deal with a gooseberry fool head broadband supplier then better to have the one with the fastest BB. Managed to get a 100mb connection for £27 a month. Point? I've started grabbing emulated titles again and I won't waste my PSN sub.

Bit regretful I sold the X1 due to desperately slow speeds with our last supplier, but there it is. Shan't buy another though as on the plus side it has removed a dozen or so games from my backlog. Thankfully I only had a bundled copy of FH3 with the console, Dead Space and Panzer Dragoon Orta digitally bought so only a small loss.
