I've recently been playing the DX+ version of the original Pac Man CE on PC but having to use the touch controls with a mouse isn't the easiest way to play it.

Great game though.

I'm play Ys - Oath in Felghana. It's a pretty good little hack and slash game. The music is awesome. I may have stuck it on the second difficulty by accident, but it's still challenging enough.

DooM! I've been playing gooseberry fool loads of Doom recently following the 25th anniversary back in December. It's still such an amazing game to play, few FPS games have come close to capturing that magic feeling of zipping about those incredible levels, dodging and weaving through hordes of monsters, timing your movements to the reloads of your shotgun.

In the last month I've played through most of the "official" content:

Ultimate Doom
Doom II
Final Doom (Plutonia and TNT)
Master Levels for Doom II

As well as taking a crack at a bunch of the "Top 100 Wads" from Doomworld.

Love live Doom!

I bought Lumo on a whim and I'm loving it! A little odd at first and some of the jumps you have to do are a bit annoying (especially when you know you can get to he next platform and miss it anyway) but it's so quirky that I can't seem to put it down at the minute.

Bit of AC Odyssey and a bit of Soul Calibur VI, both great games.
AC can feel a little grindy when it comes to leveling up but bar that I'm really enjoying it, much more than Origins.
And Soul Calibur is a really fun fighter, love playing as Geralt and making your character is in depth. Already made Ciri and Lucina, just wish it was easier to search for user generated characters.

Don't hate me, but Blackout is actually rather good.

It is, my major problem is that although all my mates own it, they can't stand it so we're stuck on PUBG for the foreseeable future.

I have the opposite problem as mine will not play anything else :D

Prodigy Tactics

Bought this last year while it was still in early access and while the graphics were fairly nice with some interesting character designs it was pretty much unplayable.

It's just been officially released and still fairly rough round the edges and prone to freezing up for several seconds once in a while, also has no proper display settings options (you can set the resolution and fullscreen settings but that's it) and is still difficult to understand how to actually play it due to a terrible tutorial.

With a bit more polish and thought this could have been a decent turn based strategy game but as it stands it's mediocre at best.

Completed Knights of the Old Republic yesterday. Borrowed it along with a friend's XBox back in summer 2006 but didn't get time to finish it. Found that, with the right items boosting force powers and strength, that stasis then spamming power attack was a pretty good tactic for pretty much everyone except some Dark Jedi. Enjoyed it even if it isn't the hardest RPG out there. Probably one of the last great Star Wars games (excluding KOTOR 2 which I obviously haven't played yet, and Lego Star Wars was awesome but certainly isn't a "serious" Star Wars game). Such a shame we don't get this sort of thing anymore.

Currently got Dark Forces on the go on PC, and Ico on the PS3. Trying to have focus in my gaming and actually get games finished for once. Dark Forces has been on my to finish list for nearly twenty years, and I've been fascinated by Ico since I heard about it but only bought it a few months ago. It has the eerie, desolate, lonely feel of the first Tomb Raider, which is very difficult to find. I think I could spend ages chilling out on top of a tower just looking out to sea. Trying to do it one bench at a time as well, just to savour the atmosphere.

Paying Detroit Become Human. Loving it so far. I'm always wondering how different things might have played out with different choices, and the flow chart goes someway to indicating all the potential outcomes. I'm going to play through without revising any choices, and then possibly play through again purposely doing things as different as possible.
Without spoilers, can anyone indicate whether restarting a chapter essentially erases any chapters you have completed that follow it? I assume it does for continuity reasons.....

Took on one of the cultists today, and kept getting killed over and over, took bloody ages to finally nail this bint!

If you don't take out her assistant straight away, the fight is as good as over.

Another raid night in Destiny 2. We've gotten Last Wish down to 45 minutes now (from 6 hours!) So we had time to polish off the latest mini-raid released through the Annual Pass.

It was fun, but nowhere near as good as Last Wish. It was essentially the same mechanic several times over with a sparrow race and boss fight. Didn't get any decent gear but it was a fun night

Did you not play any of the original Destiny raids, Taf?

I did the first two and half of Kings Fall, and we all keep saying we will redownloaded the game and go through them again.

Wish Bungie would do the work over and bring them to D2. Would be a shame if the pinnacles of their game design in the series got left behind with each iteration. I know it's not just a case of porting them over, as they'd need some work doing to bring them in line with D2's engine and system, but it would perhaps be a quicker way to get over any content drought.

Killed some bird boss on a bridge in Ys. It's a good game, can't remember who recommended it on here, but thanks very much.

The music in this is just pure headbangery. Beautiful piano stuff as well.

I didn't no. Tried to once, with a bunch from here, but my internet cut out just as we were starting ( stupid Australian download limits).

I'm really hoping that the recent speculation is true and Destiny now becomes a persistent Mmo akin to WoW rather than a bunch of seperate games where you leave everything behind after each iteration. I'd love to give Vault of Glass a go.

(Also, used a website to check my playtime; original Destiny 67 hours. Destiny 2, 167 hours. Jeez)

Edit; Just watched the Destiny 1 cutscenes on YouTube. What a mess of a story that game had. It makes almost zero sense and a lot of it now appears to have been, if not retroactively dismissed, then ignored by the ongoing narrative. Thankfully.

God of War - getting close to the end of the main story and enjoying every minute. It's a stunning game. Still quite a few side things to complete; might go to 100% it when done.

My son's introduction to the gaming realm is going well; so, I've also sunk a good few hours helping him through PokePark 2, Ice Age 3 and Madagascar 2 on the wii. Obviously, not the greatest games in the world, but I have Mario sitting in waiting!
