Dead Cells - not finished it yet, but getting close. Got the first unlock to make every item a + item. So hopefully that'll make it easier going forward. Such an amazing game. Never played a game like it before.

Wish my image sig would work

Another session with Observer last night, I suspect I am getting close to the end of this now. It's a bloody brilliant game, even though I don't tend to favour "horror" games and there are aspects of this which lean heavily in that direction I'm still loving it. :D

Dead Cells - the game has just been updated. They've changed a lot including some of th skills that make the game easier.... Thanks for that developers. So no fast turret deploy.

Anyway, I got to the final boss for the second time. And since I had two super strong turrets, ice bow and very strong normal bow. I blitz it. Finished it and then started again.

Carried on and finished it again... Thinking I was the best player ever as I've now finished it on hard mode. So started again and had about 400 cells.. (and nothing to spend them on). Realized I had to change the difficulty at the tube so had been playing on normal for my second run. .... Changed to hard more and died in about 10 seconds. Lost all my cells too.

But I'm still loving it. Will get back into it as soon as I've finished crackdown 3.

I’m gonna try to get REmake finished this weekend then I’m thinking about playing Parasite Eve again as I want to finish the Chrysler Building dungeon that unlocks when you beat the game allowing you to fight the true end boss.

Nice, what'll you be playing Parasite Eve on? Meant to get to that on PSP or Vita for the longest time. Ripped the PSN version to Retroarch so may give it a go come October

I have it on PS3, I bought it from the US store years ago. It's a great game and I've beaten it before (twice) but never managed to finish the Chrysler Building.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, all 50cc done and now a couple of cups into 100cc. Thought I may as well do them all rather than jumping straight to 150cc so I can collect plenty of coins for unlocking stuff.

Nice! Is nice that it's pretty easy to access US+JP PSNs on PS3, is sadly more of a pain on PSP + Vita. Still doable though and worth it for the exclusives like PE1 along with 60hz versions

Tried the Shadow of the Tomb Raider on the hardest difficulty and it was going all so well until I died and lost a blooming hour of progress, certainly a pain in the backside as the game only saves at bonfires .

Yeah, I remember regularly switching accounts on PSP depending on what I wanted to play. Bit of a nuisance really.

Arse biscuits! I'll be sure not disconnect from the net before playing this next time. (Not touched it in weeks.) Ta for posting about it.

Started playing Undertale on Nintendo Switch tonight, only put an hour into it so far but it seems ok. Not really sure why it gets all the praise it does so far but it’s early days yet so i’ll Continue on with it.

What I don’t get though, I remember people talking about how you didn’t actually need to fight anything and that you could talk your way out of fights. This doesn’t seem to be happening for me though, I try talking but nothing changes and the fight continues on. Is this something I am doing wrong? I thought you could beat the game with out fighting anything to get a different ending?

Just because you enter the fight screen doesn't mean you have to fight...

Is it just a case then of going into the Act screen and selecting Talk/Flirt/Insult depending what options you get? I selected talk a few times in one battle but the text kept repeating so I ended up fighting in the end.

I’m currently at the Trash area of the wall fall at the moment, I quite like the quirkiness of it.

Each monster has its own, non-violent method. Some are easy to suss out, some are more complex but there is a way to defeat every enemy in the game without killing them.

The one I remember clearest is the horse mermaid enemy. Just keep complimenting it until it goes away.

My Switch is now essentially a £250 Tetris machine.

Parasite Eve on PS3. I was making swift progress through the game until I hit day 5’s optional Warehouse area. The enemies there are fast as strawberry float and hit like trucks for little to no reward. Twice now I have offed the boss (an early example of the giant enemy crab) only to die making my way back to the exit.

I’ve just spent the last hour or so loading up on healing supplies and will try again this afternoon.

EDIT: I finished the warehouse and moved on to the final area of the game. Whereas the rest of the game moves at an excellent pace the museum area seems to have been made overly long purely to pad the game out a little.
