Got A Plague Tale the other day and about 5 chapters in so far and it's a fantastic game, it feels like a Sony single player first party title, can't wait to play more.
I’m enjoying it in parts, just the minor downsides are spoiling the overall one currently, if I had something else to play I’d probably still be waiting for the illusive performance patch but 2 and a bit months after release and there’s nothing of the sorts yet
For once I’m kind of wishing I’d got it on another platform, not going to buy it again mind so I’m stuck with the Switch version.
Oh boy this is good. Much more frenetic pace than the first, trusting you with abilities much sooner. I think I'm about half way through after one sitting. It is hard as nails in some bits. But with a few exceptions, the combat and platforming are excellent.

It's awesome. Very much feels like a direct continuation of the first game. I could't really pick between them.
World of Warcraft Classic - I knew I'd hate covering vast distances on foot. I was right. Thankfully I had a laugh on it yesterday and that alleviated the tediousness of running everywhere.
Sam Barlow's follow-up to Her Story, and it is excellent.
The setup is essentially the same: you're a character browsing through a video library using keywords, trying to piece together a story. Or a version of a story at least, as unlike Her Story there are multiple characters and locations and plots all happening at once.
And yeah, it's brilliant. You start with nothing, and by the end of my first run my in-game notepad was filled with dates and names and happenings. At the end of the second, I migrated to a real notepad file which was also filled up. I've gotten two of what I assume is the three endings (although there's probably a secret 4th ending for watching every video or something). In both of my runs I watched about half of the vids (which was around 90) but I definitely haven't seen them all yet.
It's flawed, some of the clips are over 10 minutes long and there's no 'Skip to the start/end' button meaning you have to scrub through them at a max of x3 speed. That's a lot of rewinding. There's also no real goal to achieve, the game ends after the in-game clock hits a set time so once I figured out what was happening in the two plotlines I followed the rest of the time was spent noodling around. But the stories it does tell are very well done, fantastically acted, and amazing to discover.
Going to leave it for a bit then attempt to get the third ending. I can't stop thinking about it.
I'm looking forward to playing this (but it will have to be on Ipad for me). Loved Her Story, and i still regularly think back to it, even though it has been over 2 years since my play through.
PS4 Pro - AC Odyssey - A great game, but unlike Origins (which I do prefer) one I'm happy to jump in and out of should the mood take me.
Observer - Only started playing the other night after picking it up in the summer sale. Marvellous, terrifying and completely bonkers. Playing as the late, great Rutger Hauer is an added bonus.
Monster Hunter World - Took a while to get my head around it, but now I've grasped the gameplay it's superb.
PC - Ion Fury - I backed this from Early Access and while was thrilled by it. Such a shame that every time I now fire it up it leaves a bad taste in my mouth having discovered that the devs are a bunch of sexist, homophobic assholes. I shall continue to enjoy it, but it's the last time Voidpoint will see any of my money.
Conan Exiles - Yep, still jumping into this. Currently building a huge fortress. My favourite survial game of all time.
Mad Max - Still not reached the end game, but clearing out every region has become a bit of an addiction. Myself and Jawa are absolutely right about this one. Magnificent stuff.

How do you keep up playing so many games at the same time
This is significantly worse than the original, without necessarily doing much differently. Levels are needlessly drawn out and lose their pace. Designed to frustrate. Plus chopping between mostly anonymous characters is annoying.

I just rotate them over the course of the week. I don't usually play a game with the intention of completing it, I just play what takes my mood at the time.
I also think Origins is better than Odyssey, the latter is just far too large, Origins was tighter as a world and made places and the map feel more familiar.
Very nearly into the last area of Bloodstained, started off not enjoying it much but the more I’ve progressed the better it’s got, sadly it does have some major slowdown in later areas, even to the point where it’s hung for a few seconds after beating a boss making me think it’s crashed (which it hasn’t yet actually, surprisingly). Just been upgrading my shards before I move into the last area, expect I’ll probably have to grind a little in the last area before the last boss as I’m currently level 42 and for the last couple of bosses I’ve had to stack up on potions and food and consume the lot.
Ah might not have to grind too much at all then, hopefully make some progress this evening or maybe even complete it, no idea how challenging the last area will be.
