It's bit rough and can be annoying when you're told to wait until next day or specific time but I still love it. Good Christmas game of sorts too, since it's in December

Feels like the ultimate Christmas game, very cosy and its themed around that part of the year.

Cosigned  It even has Santa! Local sellout Santa but still!

Funny thing is I always associated Christmas as being the midpoint of the game, but on my playthrough last year I finished it late in-game December...I clearly spent a lot of game-days redoing the warehouse stealth and mucking about on Space Harrier back on Dreamcast D:

I would have had it beat before New Years, but that strawberry floating stealth section....

I can't remember how many times I've finished it but back in day I was obsessed with it that I'd just start new game as soon as I finished it ... In row... :shifty:

Theres a way to have the game loop so you can keep working as many times as you like, which I used to try to get most if not all of gacha toys. Don't think I will this playthrough but def want to come back and try to get them all eventually (shame there's no NG+ that at least carries over gacha collection)

Been looking through my humongous steam backlog and discovered a couple of point&click room escape games I'd forgotten I'd bought ages ago (the imaginatively named "The Room" and "The Room2") for under a quid each .

Both are quite short, finished the first one in around 4 1/2 hours and I'm roughly 2 hours into the 2nd one.

Not bad for the price but have zero replay value, will likely getthe 3rd part if it appears in a sale.

I played The Room on iPhone a few years ago. I thought it was pretty good but as you say no replay value. I never got round to the rest of the series for some reason.

Currently playing... Flow.

This game can’t go with the flow. I can’t even use the D-stick, I have to use the totally revolutionary six axis.

The Six Axis

I play a bit of fish food, & I have to eat fish food to be a bigger fish food but sometimes if you get hit by a bigger fish food it sends you back a level. Then you have to find the exit & to go back to the level where you where before. However if you get sent back & then get hit by another big bit of fish food, it sends you back another level.

I’m no where in the ‘Im Cracking skulls” frustration yet but this game is ridiculous.

On the last bit of Obra Dinn. Have loved every minute and really savoured it. The only game I have played with my wife in 20 years makes it extra special.

Skip Flow, play Flower and Journey. Flower is legitimately good use of sixaxis.

Having neve played Shovel Knight I decided to give it a go. Playing on my switch lite it's bloody good fun. I'm currently stuck very on fighting the spectre knight. Will keep trying as the game is just wonderful.

Conversely, I bought the first 3 games a few years ago when I got my iPad and really enjoyed them. I now have an iphone again and am thinking of playing them again as it’s been a while and have forgotten most of the puzzles.

Yesterday and today I've been playing shenmue 2 a lot, just finished it. That cliffhanger only reminded how painful it was waiting for story to pick up again!

Will put Shenmue 3 on hold until after new years, but I'm glad I got chance to play them again without having to buy Dreamcast copies

Anyway life is strange season 2 is next, at least one episode before I decide on what game to play

Buying Dishonored 2 was a mistake because CHRIST IT'S SO DOUR. Picked up SteamWorld Dig 2 and Risk of Rain 2. Hopefully they'll do it it for me. I actually have SWD2 on PC (EGS freebie I think) but I really cba playing it on there.

Being playing Dying Light I had not realised how good this game was. Really enjoying the plot and the free running stuff.

Decided on Wandersong, and I'm loving it. Here's one of moments I'm still thinking about, made me laugh...

I’m loving this game. Play about an hour a night. It’s just so chilled. And funny!

I enjoyed this when it first came to Game Pass. It felt quite refreshing for a Metroidvania.

Bit of Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair which is glorious and some Saints Row 3, shame they didn't bundled SR 4 with the Switch release of 3.
