Transformers Devastation - PS4

Played it throug multiple times but it's just so good. Cell shaded G1 graphics with classic voices and platinum combat. Its a very joyful game and a hugely overlooked title.

Wish my image sig would work

I remember getting that on PS+ a few years back, it was good fun. If i resubbed i think i would probably give it another play through. A short and sweet game.

Picked up Cop the Recruit the other day off Ebay and been playing through that. It's a graphically impressive title that uses the DS touch screen in some decent ways, but the game is rather repetative and shooting is awkward,

Beat the dreaded Sir Orange of Rakoon's skydiving 'point break' feat today, only just though, it was really close.

Vanquish (remaster) - PS4 Pro

Currently £15.99 on PSN. Such a brilliant game that deserves more attention. Hopefully more people play it now it's remastered.

This is basically the perfect brawler game, I've finished it with a few of the characters now but it's just such a fun game to pick up and play that I suspect I will keep coming back to it for a quick bash for a while yet![/b]

River city girls is up there. It is strawberry floating great, tbh.

I need to play Street of Rage 4, waiting to play it in local coop. It will have to go long way to beat River City Girls though

Finished up Mad Max, now moved onto Arkham Knight with the season pass. This game is utterly fantastic. I might have been a bit hard on it before.

Gone back to Dishonored after watching the noclip Arkane studios doc.

Even 8 years on, the game looks amazing. I love how ultra stylised games like this always age so much better than their hyper realistic counterparts.

Being much less cautious in my approach this time. I know stealth has benefits, but I absolutely ruined the game for myself first time around when I decided my first plaything should be a ghost run, as that would be the optimum way to play or something. I rage quit after completing one level and the end of level stat screen told me I got spotted once, which I hadn't noticed, so I'd have to repay the entire level again, and never went back.

Been making an effort to go through some of the games i've picked up as Epic Freebies or in Steam sales years ago.

Celeste was up first, and I loved that, but mostly because I knew when to quit. If I carried on after seeing the credits I know I would have just got incredibly frustrated with it quickly as I was already incredibly stressed out with it before then.

Baba Is You was next, and I didn't even get an hour into it before giving up. I get the type of game it's meant to be, but I wasn't getting any enjoyment from solving the puzzles so I binned that off.

Then I tried Antichamber and I couldn't get on with that at all, had no idea what to expect as I didn't now what type of game that was, but I quickly learned that's not my type of thing.

Next up on the alphabetical list was Awesomenauts. It's fun enough, but i'm gooseberry fool at it and die a lot when playing online and when you play against bots it's too easy. Can't see me playing too much more of this either.

Bastion is next for me. Heard good things about this so hopeful it's going to be good!

Playing the post game in Star Ocean First Departure. I got to the point where I’m comfortable tackling the dungeon, progressed through all 30 floors, found all the treasures only to let my arse handed to me by the boss. A full hour completely wasted :|

Edit: Just tried again and wiped half way through. I give up for now. I’ll likely do some more grinding tomorrow morning see if getting my levels to 150+ helps.

Played The Witness for about 5-6 hours today and I think I'm done. Just wasn't having fun and was getting frustrated.

Oh, I can see why I was a bit hard on this game. The story is all over the place, some of the sequences in it last way too long, the Arkham Knight sniper section, and the bit where you fight the Toxin Dispersial Tank being examples of this.

It's a still a great game, but it's probably the worst of the four of them in terms of the main campaign. Looks absolutely phenomenal though. Really strong art direction, it has some of the best character modelling I've seen. I can't wait to see what Rocksteady do next gen.

Still one of my favourite games of the last decade.

I love playing stealth and ghosting games where possible but there's no denying that it's a hell of a lot of fun to go high chaos in Dishonored!

Finally done with the Star Ocean First Departure post game. I got my party to level 150 then rather than fight more battles on my way through the dungeon I just fled every fight and headed straight for the loot then the boss.

If you decide to play the sequel it's almost impossible to play stealthy, just go in and massacre everyone.

I wouldn't say that, I've played all of them in pretty much every style from complete ghost to utter madman and have enjoyed all approaches! If anything the sequel gives more options for the stealth oriented player!

I found the second really frustrating to play stealthily, U remember asking on here and others felt the same. Not suggesting it can't be done though, it's amazing what people can do in these games.
